Nancy Mace
Also known as Rep. Mace, Congresswoman Mace
- U.S. Representative (R-SC); Chair, Oversight Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, IT, and Government Innovation (118th Congress)
Nancy Mace is a Republican U.S. Representative from South Carolina, in office since 2021. In the 118th Congress she chaired the House Oversight Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation.
At the July 2023 hearing her questions drew David Grusch's best-known answer: that "biologics came with some of these recoveries" and were non-human. Grusch also offered her a list of cooperative and hostile witnesses. On 13 November 2024 she co-chaired, with Glenn Grothman, the joint hearing "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth", with Tim Gallaudet, Luis Elizondo, Michael Shellenberger and Michael Gold. She opened by saying some people had tried to stop the hearing, and entered into the record, and posted on her website, the whistleblower report on the alleged "Immaculate Constellation" program that Shellenberger brought.
She later sat on Anna Paulina Luna's Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, and at its September 2025 hearing pressed Dylan Borland on whether the Langley triangle was American. The Immaculate Constellation report she published has not been authenticated or acknowledged by the Defense Department.
