The Universe Beyond the Horizon: Conversations with Professor Haim Eshed

The Universe Beyond the Horizon: Conversations with Professor Haim Eshed is a Hebrew-language book by Hagar Yanai, published in November 2020, based on conversations with Haim Eshed, the retired general who led Israel's military space programme for almost three decades.

Eshed's December 2020 interview with Yediot Aharonot, in which he claimed the U.S. was in contact with a "Galactic Federation" of extraterrestrials, was given to promote the book. The claims drew international headlines and were dismissed by the Israel Space Agency's chairman, Isaac Ben-Israel.
