Glimpses
Once you see the thing, you know it. When you see this thing once, you never forget it. Just the way — the heartbeat of the thing. It’s a luminous light. You’d like to see through it, but you can’t.
Charlie Red Star (Dundurn, 2017) tells the story of the 1975 wave of sightings around Carman, Manitoba, when residents, police and journalists watched a red light, nicknamed "Charlie Red Star", that seemed to return night after night. Grant Cameron, who saw it as a young man and began his UFO research because of it, reconstructs the wave from local reports and interviews.
