Varginha press conference at the National Press Club: James Fox and the Brazilian witnesses (NewsNation live, 20 January 2026)
NewsNation · 20 January 2026 · 189 min · Watch the original
The full press conference, broadcast live by NewsNation, at which James Fox presented the Varginha witnesses from his updated film Moment of Contact. The six statements recorded in Brazil (about 59:30 to 1:13:00) are in Portuguese; YouTube's captions show only “foreign speech” there, so that stretch of the transcript was made with Whisper, and the moments translate it. Nothing was said under oath, and the claims are the speakers' own; the Army's 1997 inquiry and later retractions by two soldiers are filed with the incident.
Key moments
- 31:15 Kirk McConnell: McConnell: as extraordinary as the Varginha witnesses' claims sound, “similar reports” of crash retrievals and the recovery of non-human beings have reached senators and staff in their investigation.
- 34:25 Jacques Vallée: In a recorded statement, Jacques Vallée says the database he set up for the DIA-sponsored program at Bigelow Aerospace held “hundreds of reports of creatures live or dead associated with crashed or” landed vehicles, some similar to those described in Varginha.
- 43:08 James Fox: Fox: “numerous witnesses reported a cigar- shaped object in distress” that crashed outside Varginha; days later three young women met a creature, and firefighters and military police captured two non-human beings.
- 44:00 James Fox: Fox: according to multiple Brazilian officials, the debris and the beings, “likely one still living, were flown out of Brazil within days by US Air Force”.
- 46:46 Carlos de Souza: Carlos de Souza, an ultralight pilot and geography teacher, in his first public statement in 26 years: “I witnessed the crash of a non-terrestrial craft on January 13th”, a cigar-shaped object releasing white smoke with a tear down its side.
- 52:59 Carlos de Souza: De Souza says that at the crash site, among Army vehicles, a soldier struck him with a rifle and ordered him to leave “or I'll split your skull”, and that two men in suits later threatened him at a petrol station.
- 59:59 (Portuguese, recorded in Brazil) Fábio Furtado: in January 1996, at a farm near Três Corações, he and a friend saw a cylindrical object the size of a minibus zig-zag and come down behind a hill; the next day he found a yellowed patch on the ground.
- 1:01:06 Liliane Silva: (Portuguese) Liliane Silva, now a pre-school teacher: on Saturday 20 January 1996, at about 3:20 p.m., she saw a short creature with red eyes, brown skin that looked oiled and veins from neck to arm; when it looked at her she felt it was suffering and hiding from someone.
- 1:02:43 Kátia Xavier: (Portuguese) Kátia Xavier: she was two metres from the creature, brown with red eyes, oily skin, a large head, three fingers and a big foot; she has never changed a syllable of her account in thirty years.
- 1:04:36 Valquíria Silva: (Portuguese) Valquíria Silva: the creature looked as frightened of them as they were of it, brown, with red eyes and a shine on its body as if oiled.
- 1:05:27 (Portuguese) Luíza Helena da Silva, the sisters' mother: at the site half an hour later she saw a footprint with three long toes; later four men in black opened a case of money and offered to make the family rich if she had the girls say on TV that they had seen an animal or a sick person. She refused.
- 1:08:18 (Portuguese) The director of TV Princesa, a local station, says EsSA soldiers stopped him reaching the site, citing national security, that he heard men in the woods calling to surround something, and that his reporters were warned they would be arrested if they pressed the Army on it.
- 1:10:39 (Portuguese) An unnamed former Army soldier says he saw the being through a door at the hospital and drove it from Varginha to Três Corações and on to Campinas, where other soldiers took over, and later heard the Americans had it.
- 1:11:49 (Portuguese) Marta, sister of military police officer Marco Eli Chereze: her brother, 23, took part in the capture and died of a cause still undetermined; she asks the authorities to say what happened.
- 1:15:40 Armando Fortunato Filho: Forensic examiner Armando Fortunato Filho: he performed the autopsy of the 23-year-old soldier, whose death from what looked like a simple abscess led the military police commander to request an investigation for suspected medical error.
- 1:18:39 Armando Fortunato Filho: Fortunato Filho: the infection was caused by “a highly virulent and multi-drugresistant bacterium” that spread through the body and caused septic shock.
- 1:22:19 João Baptista Macuco Janini: Pathologist João Baptista Janini, in a statement read for him: the bacterium went beyond a conventional infection, which “raises the hypothesis of its alien origin”; an exhumation for molecular studies is awaited.
- 1:55:47 Ítalo Venturelli: Neurosurgeon Ítalo Venturelli: in 2023 he told Fox's team only that he had seen a video of a non-human creature at the hospital on 20 January 1996; a near-fatal heart attack in 2024 moved him to say more.
- 1:58:50 Ítalo Venturelli: Venturelli: behind a makeshift partition lay a being like a seven-year-old child, calm and breathing well; “Its eyes were lilac and teardropshaped”, the skin white, the arms very thin, three fingers and an opposing thumb.
- 2:07:50 Fred Claussen: Retired USAF Col. Fred Claussen: a fighter pilot with more than 4,000 hours, he says he intercepted a UFO in an F-15 and his gun-camera film was confiscated.
- 2:09:16 Fred Claussen: Claussen, relaying a Brazilian air traffic controller: around 20 January 1996 a U.S. Air Force cargo plane, most likely a C-17, entered Brazilian airspace without clearance and landed at Campinas; if true, “30 to 40 Americans had direct knowledge of this flight”.

1:29 Well, good morning, good evening, good >> Uh, hello Megan Medic from >> Ros. It's a hot start. I already can't hear you. >> We just tested this for minutes and minutes. And >> can you hear me? I can hear you fine. >> I'm well versed at reading your lip. >> So, hold on one second. >> I'm getting a significant delay on my audio here. By the way, >> how about now? >> Ross, can you speak? Can you >> Megan? Can you hear us? I can hear you, Megan, but unfortunately there is a five audio. >> Hi Ross. Hold on. I could just hear you one minute ago. Apologies.
2:34 >> Ross, are you there? >> Yeah, it's the it's the normal snafu, Megan. If something can go wrong, it >> Yeah. So, Ross, I I am so sorry I cannot hear you. I But you know, our executive producer, Andy, I know that you're here listening. Andy, I can hear the sound from our news station camera who is right here in the room with us. Um, I'm trying to see what I can show you. >> yeah. Do you want >> I'm going to try to figure out my audio. I'm so sorry, guys. We just had it one second ago when we were doing this testing. Andy, >> you can hear me, Megan? Maybe she can't. Ross, do you Why don't you just tell the folks? There's about 5,000 in the chat. Tell them. >> Ladies and gentlemen, we are obviously a good connection going. >> No, I've got nothing from Ross now. >> U Megan, if you just give me 30 seconds, >> just remove me and I can um try to
3:36 >> All right, Ross. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, uh we're obviously doing the live feed of the Brazil V U. >> I think Andy, we have a problem technically, so we may just have to go live with Megan on the ground. Can you hear the music, Ross? >> Yes, I can. >> Megan's uh doing some troubleshooting. So, if you just want to tell folks a little bit about what the event's going to be. >> Yeah. So ladies and gentlemen, this press conference is potentially one of the
4:37 most important press conferences in the last 25 years from the UAP. Uh, unfortunately Andy, I'm getting return audio of my audio which is delayed by about >> We'll work on troubleshooting it. >> Yeah. Sorry about this, ladies and gentlemen, but we will be running the press conference live in a few minutes when it starts. And this is an opportunity for the direct firsthand witnesses of what was allegedly the >> So Ross, can you hear me? >> I can hear you now. I would love to show some people some behind the scenes
5:38 things that are going on. I've got right here next to me, I've got James James Fox with Sarah. James, Anna, Ross. Hey Ross, how you doing? >> We are live streaming. >> The Brazilian senator I am. We laughed about it. He just arrived. So >> we're doing great. We're doing good. Good luck. Yep. We are nice and smooth. All right. We've got James Fox in the room. You guys see the the three witnesses who are testifying in person today. They are also here. I have a picture of of two of two of them. I'm going to turn the camera. on both just just one of them. We have Carlos over here in the hat. As you know, Carlos was on scene um when the crash happened. Is it just my picture line now? >> Um so, as you guys know, this is extremely complex and I was lucky enough to be invited by James Fox last night to the rehearsal of this press conference. Um, I got to see the these men and get
6:40 up there and give their statements. Um, they are written statements and there will be translator up there translating with with them. Um, but they are emotional and they are powerful and these these gentlemen who are giving their their statements, the the neurosurgeon while he was giving his written statements just in practice last night, he was brought to tears. Um, and it was just incredible to see the passion behind this and hopefully the potential power behind this. Um, we know that this has been going the story is 30 years old now, but they kept saying in the meeting last night is what they really want is whistleblower protections and they want to be able to have more people come forward and speak and also they want the this to be a gigantic signal to the United States. You were allegedly th this happened and we we need you to to support us and showing us, hey, where are these potential alien body bodies? Where where is this
7:41 potential alien spacecraft? Um who are the people in the United States Air Force who allegedly went into Brazil and took these things? Can you come forward? Will you be safe? Will you protected if if you come and speak? Um, I just want to reiterate, and Ross, of course, you can jump in any anytime, that this is the first time, the reason this is so important is this is the first ever testimony of nonhuman biologics happening in DC. Um, >> are there witnesses? Are there witnesses today, Megan, who have not spoken >> Well, we we've seen the statements. We we have Carlos who was at the scene and then we have the doctor who walked into the room and saw the alien's body and then we have now the the man who performed the autopsy on the Brazilian officer who died. So his testimony is is quite new. Um what he is saying is that these biologics this this officer in
8:44 Brazil allegedly touched one of the beings and we received a scratch under his armpit and because of that scratch ended up dying 26 days later. So he did the autopsy on this young man that that died and he's saying that the there there were no pharmaceuticals at the time to treat this infection. The biologics there are not human. They are not from this world. Even today, 30 years later, of continuing to study this man's tissue, although in this tissue, there's still not an antibiotic that exists that could treat this or pres prevent this because it is not human. >> Okay. And do we know who's kicking off first? Obviously, James is going to lead in with the press conference, but uh do we know which witnesses are speaking >> Yes. Let me just go back to my notes from last night. in practice last night we had Dr. Vitalio Verelli, the neurosurgeon who saw the alien.
9:44 >> And the I I the thing I find amazing is these are people who are saying that they have had direct contact with a nonhuman being. People often say everything about the UAP subject is anecdotal. It's circumstantial. The important thing about today is that this is the presentation of direct firthand evidence, isn't it? >> Correct. Direct firsthand evidence. And it it's just so so interesting because these these men and let's not forget the three sisters who also saw the baby. They have nothing to do with one another. It's not like you investigate and like, oh, that's someone's cousin and they're telling a big tale together as a joke. These these men don't know each other. One man was an ultra light pilot and he was just going out to fly planes in the morning and he sees a massive crash and does and does what the human instinct does. Let's get out there. Let's see. And then he touched he said this craft and he crumbled it up and it right right back to the shape that it was. So touches the craft. He did not see any any beings, but you know
10:45 we have the doctor who did and you know you walk in to do your job and then you're presented with something nonhuman. um which is what's coming. >> So Megan, what's the crowd like? I know James was worried that people may not come to the press conference, but we tried to give this the story a good push along in our preview story on Monday. Uh what's the attendance at the press conference at the moment? >> Let me let me move my camera around and I will just give you a big 360 view of what is going on. So here we've got like the backstage I am in the front row. Hello. There's my There's everyone all behind me. Our news photographer is behind me. >> That's a significant That's an >> We got more people waving. Um and then we have the stage of course right here. And then we have James is getting ready to walk onto the stage with one of the translators. So it it is
11:45 a significant turnout. And funny this this morning I was at the newsation DC bureau at about 8 am and our photographer who was here in the back um called me and said there were already >> lining up waiting to come in. >> Okay, so here we go. We're going to get you guys behind schedule. >> Just a few. >> Thank you guys so much for coming. Pleasure to see you guys. >> So, James, just you guys not here. They're just a few minutes behind that I have personally seen. >> Nothing wrong with being [laughter] nothing wrong with being a fashionably late for a UAP press conference that's revealing an alien UFO crash and the recovery of alien beings. I I can >> I've got I have the doctor walking by. You guys did you guys get a good look at >> You guys know him from obviously moment of contact and he um we talked about him intensively on on reality that he worked
12:47 on an alien body. Are these witnesses nervous, Megan? >> Yes. Um, last night during rehearsals, >> it was almost a nervous energy. It was It was kind of quiet in there. Hi, >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Okay. Are we guys, are we having any problems with the sound feedback from the direct feed? James is concerned about the sound. The feed itself sounds okay. This is >> The feed sounds okay. >> Yeah, I think it's working fine though. We were getting we were getting an echo back earlier, Megan, but it seems to have fixed itself. >> Um, love when things work out. >> Do we know is there any >> is there any mention, Megan, of um whether any of these witnesses have met with congressional representatives or senators? Has there been any political
13:49 engagement with any of these witnesses? >> Yes. So, um, James Fox did let us know that on Thursday that there was a meeting. I do not have the details of that, but James did let us know that those meetings happened on Thursday and those were all the details that we were allowed to receive at that time. >> And is there any prospect of those witnesses being deposed, being sworn under oath to give evidence? I I would hope so. I I worry um because the UAP pressor that we covered in Congress in September, Jeff Matelli, who was a witness at that case, I did run into him last night and we did have a conversation and he let me know that he has had absolutely no contact from members of Congress. Not one person has reached out to for more details, his side of the story, for more information. Um so that that concerns me a bit. Um I
14:51 know that some members in Congress are said to be coming here today to this conference that they were going to be hanging in the back. So I will of course keep my eyes open for them. Um and hopefully this can move the needle because this these these the claims this story of this week plus long event in Brazil um is truly one of the most incredible that we've we've heard. The evidence here is very very compelling. >> Right. So I think what we um I think what we're most interested to know is what's going to come out of today's press conference because obviously these witnesses are being given an opportunity to present to the public uh and the media what they say happened in Vajinhar 30 years ago literally today. Uh but the big issue is going to be what is the American government? what what is going to be the response if any uh is there going to be any action uh uh and I guess that's what we need to hear out of today's press conference you know is
15:53 there any possibility that congressional committees will formally depose these witnesses and take their evidence under oath so that this matter can be properly investigated. I think also, Megan, one of the things that we're most anxious to get out of today is there will be people watching this, people in the US Air Force, people in the US military, the intelligence community who almost certainly know more about the Virginia case from 1996. If the stories are correct, and we believe they are, there was an air force plane that was deployed to Brazil to recover not only the craft, but also the beings which returned to the United States. There must be people with firthand knowledge of this event in the United States who can corroborate what happened. This could be, and I think James has got a point here, that this could be an absolutely key piece of evidence to push Congress and the US
16:55 government and particularly the Trump administration into making some kind of admission about what the United States actually knows about the UAP history. Because at the moment as we go into this press conference, the official US government position of course is that there is no evidence of extraterrestrial engagement with this planet. But um this is one of many famous historic press conferences that have been held at the National Press Club and I just hope that this one isn't consigned to oblivion after these noble people have made the courageous decision to come forward and give this evidence today. >> Yes, absolutely. And you know that is something that we will hear at at the end. We will hear from a new voice someone who was new new to me last night and that is that is the call the call for them to come forward. And I did last night when I was with everybody you know what what is what do you want? What is the outcome that that you you want because is it to be believed or just have your story heard? And they said we want the executive branch to protect
17:56 whistleblowers and we want Congress to investigate the case. >> Um and is there I mean this is the thing though. I mean I I'm very >> Can you guys please excuse me for just one second? I'm just going to have to mute myself. Someone needs to speak with >> Okay. So, as we go into this press conference, the reason why this press conference matters is because this is incredible work that James Fox has done over the last 30 years to investigate the Vajinhar case. Vajinhar matters because it's direct evidence. It's firsthand evidence not only of the recovery of an alien craft, a nonhuman craft, alien technology. It's also evidence from these doctors firsthand and pathologists who conducted an autopsy that what we're dealing with here is biologics that are not human, nonhuman, intelligent, advanced beings. This is the stuff that frankly has been
18:57 ridiculed and treated with taboo stigma and contempt by so much of the media and the commentary for decades. This is an opportunity for for witnesses to present their firstirhand evidence in a way that hopefully will galvanize movement from the Congress and from the Trump administration. Um, is there other media there, Megan? Are there any other news media cameras there apart from news >> Yes, I met one of Danny Shehan's producers. So, um I saw Danny Shehan's producers when when we walked in um there there are a bunch of cameras in in the back. I cannot tell you specifically who they are with, but as I lift my camera up quickly, if you can see all the way in the back, there are a bunch of cameras back there. And are there any identifiable representatives from elsewhere in the legacy media, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS? Is there anyone from any of those networks that you recognize that
19:58 you can see in the audience? >> You know, Russ, I'm going to mute myself, but I'm going to do a lab look at those mics for you and see if I can see anyone and I'll come right back if we have a minute. >> Sure. I think the the key thing here is really what's the traction that we're going to get from this press conference. I mean, it's fantastic. James has put some of his own money on the line here. A considerable amount of money, a considerable amount of work. Um, he needs support. This is, this case matters. It really matters because frankly, if people are going to ignore firthand evidence, witnesses who say they are prepared to testify, they're prepared to give firsthand evidence, then frankly, we might as well pack up and go home. Uh we're told, by the way, that this press conference is going to get underway shortly. They're a little bit delayed, but um frankly, I I think this is going to be the big test today. Will something come? >> Where's Lisa?
21:02 Yes. Can I hand this off to you? >> Okay. So sometime in the next few minutes we will see the beginning of the Vajinha Brazil press conference presented by James Fox the award-winning filmmaker responsible for fantastic films moment of contact and the phenomenon and this press conference is all about the work that he's done to investigate the Vajinhar Brazil case in 1996 literally on this day in 1996 witnesses in or near the town of Vajinhar, Brazil, saw a craft, a nonhuman craft crash land on farmland near the town of Vajinhar. In the course of the following days, multiple witnesses, including local military police and local civilians saw beings. One was recovered by a police officer
22:05 and the people who conducted an autopsy on that police officer. Two uh pathologists who were responsible for finding out what killed that police officer are going to be testifying today. And perhaps most dramatically, one of the other witnesses is a doctor who was present in the hospital when the being one of these beings was brought in and offered medical treatment. And the doctor gives quite extraordinary evidence. I've seen a preview of what he's about to reveal today. He gives quite extraordinary evidence, firsthand evidence of not only tending to and seeing this being clearly nonhuman, clearly a humanoid shaped being, but clearly non-human. And he testifies that this being communicated with him What's the news from the floor, Megan? Okay, so I just did a lap. Um, I want to
23:05 make sure you guys can hear me. Okay, so I just did a lap. There are a lot of media outlets here. Nobody has an identifiable mic lab, so I'm not sure who anybody is with. Everyone's kind of got their heads down. Um, trying to figure out some technical issues that are going on. Um, so it seems very busy back there. Um, but I do not know if there are any legacy media members here or if it's just independent journalists, podcasters who are interested in this >> Okay, it looks it looks like they're sitting down now. So, we might wait for this press conference to begin. Are [laughter] >> you here?
24:11 >> We are ready to go. Let me check with our sound person. Do a bike check on the road in one minute. I just heard him say one minute, guys. here. So here so Brazilian center >> so this [laughter] event is going out live around the world from Washington DC >> literally all over the country. Hi everyone. >> Pulling ourselves together here. I think >> I was told there was going to be about 10 people here. >> Threading up the laces at the last >> I was told there was going to be about 10 people here.
25:14 >> Um I'm Ken. I'm going to host the event today and see. >> I can tell you as as someone who's an introvert by nature, it normally takes me a few minutes to warm up into um into speaking. So bear with me. Um, I think at the moment, if we're ready to go, we're ready. Where's James? We started without him. Oh, no. You're there. >> All right. So, first of all, welcome. Welcome, welcome. Thank you. We know. Um, first of all, yes, let's do [applause] that. Let's wake up. >> Thank you. Um, some people came a very long way to be with us today. Some people got on flights early this morning. Some people drove for many hours in a car. So, for everyone who didn't get enough sleep last night or is jet-lagged, thank you for your sacrifices. We're we're very um very happy that you're here with us today. So, my job right now is just like
26:14 an airline uh flight attendant to tell you where the emergency exits are and how this is going to go. So the first thing is is that we are going to read some written statements today and I know Q collective eye roll. Um but we're just doing that to set the table. All right. So it'll take us about an hour to move through all of them. The good news the good news is is we all read pretty well. So it shouldn't be too torturous. And um after the hour is over, we might run a little bit longer than that. Um we're going to take a 15 minute break. let everyone have a bio break or move around, move your body. Then we'll bring you back in for Q&A. The Q&A will go for an hour, as long as it needs to. And um and then we can be here together until 5:00. So we don't have to feel anxious about the amount of time that we have. We can be chill about it and we want everybody to have a chance to come up ultimately and meet the presenters here. So know that you'll have plenty of time to do that. Um, what else am I going to
27:17 say? Uh, I think I just did it all. >> QR codes. >> The QR codes. So, that was We weren't quite sure when to do that. Rumor had it. QR codes were on the wall, but >> they're posted on. >> All right. And so, the QR codes are for the videos. Is that right? >> Yes. To download the materials. >> All right. So, there. So, she just said it. So, we have QR codes on the wall if you want to download the videos later. All right. We good, everybody else? Okay. Yes, we're ready for this. All right. James, you ready? >> Let's make it happen. Yes. All right. All right. So, I'm Karen. I'm Karen Austin. I'm the managing director at the John Mack Institute and the Center for the Impossible at Rice University. Together with founder Dr. Jeffrey Kriel and Amanda Folky, head of special collections at the Woodson Research Center. We are spearheading a largecale metadata research initiative to better understand the patterns of human experience related to the phenomenon. Um, today though, I'm here in service to this with all my heart and love and support. It's a pleasure and an honor to
28:18 be with you. So, with that said, to not bury the lead, this conference addresses the existence of non-human biologics defined as biological specimens or bodies of a technologically advanced non-human intelligence. The firsthand witnesses here with us today will describe their personal encounters with live advanced non-human beings that were discovered in the immediate aftermath of a UFO crash outside Virginia, Brazil in What happened in Virginia is a part of a larger story, one that has accelerated dramatically here in the United States following the 2017 New York Times article that brought renewed attention to military encounters with unidentified aerial phenomenon or UAP. Since then, Congress has held four open hearings on UAP, an unprecedented step. While the Department of Defense has released congressionallymandated reports from its UAP task force, bipartisan legislation has established new
29:18 oversight and reporting pathways with additional measures still in development. Members of Congress are pressing for greater transparency and whistleblower protections, while highly credible intelligence and defense insiders, many testifying under oath, have reported on deeply classified programs tasked with the recovery of crashed UAP and the preservation of biologics held with an ultra secret legacy programs. In light of this momentum, the public's right to know becomes central. Evidence that we are not alone should not be classified. confirmation of the existence of life beyond Earth, I think we all agree, belongs to every human being. And with that, I'd like to introduce Kirk to help us understand Kirk McConnell, to help us understand what's been happening behind the scenes to bring this ecosystem of secrecy under congressional oversight. We are honored to welcome Kirk McConnell.
30:27 Hi. Um, I served for 37 years on the staff of the Senate Armed Services Committee, the Senate Intelligence Committee, and the House Intelligence Committee, retiring from Government Service. uh almost two years ago, I was among the staff uh from the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee uh who collaboratively investigated the UAP issue on behalf of the senators from both parties on both committees uh after the seinal um articles from the New York Times in 2017 that that Karen mentioned and that I'm sure all of you are aware of. As [clears throat] extraordinary as the claims sound of the witnesses that you will be hearing from today about a crash retrieval and the recovery of non-human beings from Virginia in 1996. Behind the scenes, similar reports uh have reached senators and staff uh conducting the investigation that I
31:27 referred to. Many of you in attendance today or tuning in uh to this event are familiar with the public statements of now Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio who has been very outspoken on this matter. Uh as vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, he clearly conveyed how seriously he takes these uh he and other senators uh held meetings and interviews in so-called sensitive compartmented intelligence facilities, skiffs, over a period of years with very credible sources reporting both direct and secondhand knowledge of the reality of highly intelligent non-human beings. government retrievalss and reverse engineering of craft not made by human beings and the recovery of bodies of non-human beings. These reports alleged hidden government activities like those
32:27 you will hear about today stretching across many decades. Uh so uh what these uh folks are going to tell you today uh in person and um are astounding but they're they're not the only uh credible testimony about such events. Thank you. >> Kirk is actually going to be back later to um provide some closing remarks for us. I should also make a note here. We're potentially expecting Representative Berles. Is that true? >> Yes, she said he's coming. >> Okay. So, there may be a moment where we everything pauses and we hiccup and we bring Berles on stage. So, just bear with us if that happens [laughter] and hopefully it will. Anyway, thank you, Kirk. Uh we look forward to hearing your closing remarks. Next, I'd like to introduce Dr. Jacqu Valet uh remotely. Unable to attend the event in person, he
33:28 generously agreed to record a statement for us. Jacques is a renowned scientific investigator, a cultural icon in this field, and one of its most influential >> Good afternoon. My name is Jacqu Valet. I'm speaking at the request of Mr. James Fox because a few years ago I initiated the system of multiple databases used by a DIA sponsored program at Bigalow Ayerospace as a cleared member of a scientific team charged with study of UFO UAP phenomena. The data warehouse system contained data screened reports of anomalous objects in
34:30 and hundreds of reports of creatures live or dead associated with crashed or landed vehicles of unknown provenence, including some similar to those in thus providing useful multinational and historical context. My current research is taking us to deeper levels with new on-site analytical and physical research on historical cases such as the 1945 case in San Antonio, New Mexico, the 1964 case in Soro, New Mexico also, and the 1965 case in Valenc. soul in France. In those and several others, new
35:31 physical and environmental data was collected. The observations involve a total of seven creatures, generally similar in size and a general body shape to those described by the witnesses in Virginia, Brazil, and by Mr. Fox, providing both context and statistical support for current and future findings. In particular, all the creatures just mentioned breathed air normally. Beyond this, I currently serve in a private capacity on the scientific advisory board of the French government national center for space studies, CNES. That unit has actively researched the

A number of which I have also studied on It should be clear, however, that I do not represent any of these government organizations in this or any other context. The Virginia incident of 1996 in Brazil, researched and documented by James Fox, fits within cases already known in scientific and medical records, many of which have remained classified. relaxing the classification requirements while preserving security of essential facilities such as the

Action by the executive branch to allow more open exchange would be As the Virginia case proves, allowing more open contact at an international level will yield better understanding of the global issues. The current segmentation of the data hinders any serious research into what appears to be an extraterrestrial phenomenon empowered by advanced artificial intelligence. Open archives do exist to some extent describing the physical and biological environment of the crafts and their
38:36 Soro and Valencol in particular, two unclassified cases officially deemed by multiple government agencies have yielded evidence of traces, recovered materials and environmental effects. But we know that much more is available. The Virginia case presents exceptional new knowledge beyond what was already known. It improves our information in two fundamental ways. First, in the ability to reconstruct what happened to the craft and its occupants from beginning to end. And second, in the professional description of the anatomical and behavioral features of the live creature
39:39 recovered by authorities within a short time of the crash and to the point of its death. [clears throat] By this achievement, James long and perilous project has opened up an entirely new field of Thank you, Jacques. Um, his perspective of course reminds us of the long arc of inquiry that has led us to this very moment. It's now my honor to introduce James Fox, the documentary filmmaker who spearheaded today's event. His work has consistently centered the human experience within some of the world's most provocative UAP cases. James, at 28 years old, completed and sold his first documentary on the UF sub UFO subject to Discovery Communications.
40:42 Over the years, through films like Out of the Blue, I Know What I Saw, The Phenomenon, The Program, and Moment of Contact, he has consistently centered the human experience with some of the world's most provocative cases. James most recent work, Moment of Contact: New Revelations, returns to the 1996 Virginia Brazil event. Often described as one of the most compelling crash retrieval cases involving multiple live non-human beings of advanced intelligence. For over two decades, he and his team have chased down the facts and witnesses to the incident. He has been deeply committed to documenting their accounts with respect and to preserve their voices for future generations. Ladies and gentlemen, James >> Thank you, Karen. And uh welcome everyone. Thank you so much for being here. And there was a colossal undertaking to get these gentlemen from Brazil here. Uh if I say
41:43 I had to walk on water and move mountains, that would be a huge So thank you everyone for being here and for all your efforts. Um just informed that Congressman Burles has just arrived. I don't know how long he's going to stay with us, but I'm hoping there he is. Welcome, Congressman. Thank you so much. [applause] Yeah. We also have a sitting member of the Senate, uh, Senator Gerald from Brazil who's standing here. Can you stand up, please? Yep. He's here. [applause] Um, so we will be introducing uh, Congressman Burlesen, would you like to give a quick statement now or would you like to wait till a little bit later? Come on up, please. I'll finish mine Thank you so much, Congressman. >> An extraordinary. >> So, my work has taken me around the world investigating some extraordinary
42:46 uh allegations of UFO encounters, now referred to as UAP, unidentified anomalous phenomena. Um, but what brings us here together today is what I consider and many others the most compelling case in modern history. In January 1996, in Virginia, Brazil, numerous witnesses reported a cigar- shaped object in distress which ultimately crashed in a field Myolini farm just outside the city of Arggin, Brazil. Several days later on January 20th, three girls outside the city, ages 14, 16, and 21, came within a few steps of an otherworldly creature cowering in broad daylight against a wall in a vacant lot. Over time, it was revealed that the Brazilian Fire Department and military
43:48 police captured two nonhuman beings on that same day. According to multiple Brazilian government officials, the crash debris and nonhuman beings, likely one still living, were flown out of Brazil within days by US Air Force and presumably remain in the possession of a secret US government classified research More and more witnesses are coming forward because courage is infectious and there's strength in numbers. This investigation is far from over. We are encouraging a coalition between officials from the US and Brazil to acquire additional records, including potential video and photographic evidence of this case. I believe in this case because this could settle the debate once and for all that we're not alone. I'm very grateful to our Brazilian witnesses taking the time to to come all this way to be here
44:49 with us today. As I said earlier, we had to move mountains and walk on water. Um the Brazilian statements will be translated by Aleni class who's right here cross and uh who co-produced a new cut of moment of contact and was instrumental in making this this conference happen. Thank you Alini. I'm going to mention uh Carlos Doza who's here as well was initial crash witness. We took years to track him down. Yeah. [applause] He gave he gave he gave one brief statement in 1996 to a researcher named Claudio Kovo and then he vanished for the better part of 26 years. And I remember we were going to include uh a segment in the phenomenon, a film I did. And at the end of the day, we we were like, we we got to find more witnesses to to we scrapped the whole idea and ended up making a movie. But we found him and a year or two later, we got him to come forward and share his story. Um it's one of the earliest civilian witnesses to the
45:50 events surrounding the Virginia crash. He's a former businessman, a longtime geography teacher, and an experienced ultralight pilot. Carlos made one public statement as I said earlier and then he vanished. So we're very grateful to have Carlos here with us today. Carlos, check check. [cheering] >> Good day ladies and gentlemen. It made a sl slight turn that revealed a lateral tear from the middle to the back. It was clearly having

I got in my car and followed its trajectory towards the crash site, hoping to be able to When I got there, I smelled a foul odor like ammonia with rotten eggs burning my

It'll give you full access to all the videos you're about to see. And I I I ask you to please spread them far and wide. They're all yours. They're everybody's. I think we can all hear and feel that everyone here and here is telling the truth to the best of their ability from their heart. Um, as I [laughter] regain my composure here, um, our next Brazilian witness brings an essential perspective to one of the most difficult and still unresolved aspects of the Virginia case, the sudden and tragic death of a healthy 23-year-old

1:15:35 >> Good day. I hereby state that I am telling the truth and that I have no conflict of interest, personal or I was assigned to perform the autopsy on the body of the 23-year-old soldier whose unexpected death led the commander of the military police of the state of Mineris to request an investigation. on suspicion of professional error.
1:16:43 It was considered unusual that a young healthy soldier would die as a result of what appeared to be a simple abscess in the underarm area. I sent organ fragments and blood samples to my colleague the renowned pathologist Dr. Joan Bachis Janini for laboratory assessment and further clarification. A recent scar was observed in the left underarm underarm region as a result
1:17:45 from a surgical drainage of an infectious lesion. The patient died a few days later despite having been evaluated and treated by other physicians with high doses of anti-inflammatory medications and antibiotics. As the infection was caused by a highly virulent and multi-drugresistant bacterium, it progressed rapidly,
1:18:47 spreading throughout the body and resulting in septic shock. eventually leading to the death of the young soldier. Unfortunately, the pathologist Dr. Janini was unable to attend our event due to his advanced age. that he prepared a written statement that was carefully translated to present to you >> We'll invite Mateos over to the stage to

I carried out academic activities at three higher education institutions. Fluminenci Federal University, the Federal University of Hij Janeiro
1:20:51 and the University of Brazilia where I held the position of associate in the southern region of Minajer. I founded the Institute for Prevention and Diagnosis IPD where I developed and implemented programs focused on cancer The access granted to me was limited exclusively to tissue fragments collected during the autopsy of the body of soldier Marco Alicia. Subsequently, I received circumstantial reports presented by gentleman who requested a review of the previously mentioned material. Based on these reports, I prepared my conclusions focusing exclusively on the identification and an analysis of the bacterium responsible
1:21:51 for the infection that affected the This bacterium proved to be a microbial agent of extremely high aggressiveness and lethality. Given its characteristics, I understand that it goes beyond the limits of a conventional infection, possibly presenting itself as a highly specialized mechanism of aggression and defense, which raises the hypothesis of its alien origin. We are currently awaiting the necessary legal procedures for the exumation of the body with the expectation that advanced studies in molecular biology may provide new evidence regarding its mechanisms of aggressiveness corroborating the hypothesis that it is an organism of extraterrestrial origin.
1:22:51 If confirmed, such a finding would represent an equivocal proof of the existence of extraterrestrial life, implying a profound global reformulation [clears throat] of our philosophical understanding of existence. Thanks. >> This is a great opportunity, Megan, for you and I to talk about what we're hearing today. I mean, we we're getting incredible witnesses. I mean, I a number of those people I've never heard before. I'm I'm aware of the evidence of the three uh women who were once girls who were witnesses to the creature hiding in the alleyway. But there's something compelling about seeing this evidence presented in the way that James is doing
1:33:28 this today. It is quite extraordinary. Do you agree? >> I I absolutely agree. And those videos that we all saw, I did not see those yesterday. So, those were all new to me. And it just really blows my mind, for lack of a better word, that all of these people are coming forward, but again, they have no relation to one another. So, how could so many people in this area, you know, you have police officers, air force members, doctors, random witnesses, television news director, they're all having this experience and they're not they're not connected. So, they're just it's it's very compelling. you you don't see any trace of confabulation. I don't see any any indication of deceit or dissembling. These people are telling the truth. Um, I I thought the most interesting exchange in my mind was hearing the mother of the two girls describing how she was offered a suitcase of money and
1:34:28 she felt that it was unbelievable the way she said that she wasn't prepared to lie even with the inducement of being offered the opportunity to become an instant millionaire. That's very powerful evidence. These people aren't talking for any inducement. James is not giving them any benefit. There's no consideration. They're just telling the truth, aren't they? >> Absolutely. And if you have the personality trait of lying and telling a tale, you probably also possess the personality trait of accepting a huge sum dash. [laughter] So, you're prone to believe these people. And >> when these gentlemen are up here, gentlemen are up here giving their testimonies, the room is silent. 1:35:30 >> So Megan I'm going to cross now to Andy our colleague in the newsroom in Chicago. He's got some questions that um have been asked of us by our viewers. Andy, got to fire some of those questions my way. >> You got it, buddy. Let me pull this one up on the screen. This is from Jamie Wild, 4757. >> Are you aware if the Vajinha case on the US side was ever investigated by the UAP task force under J Stratton's leadership? Thanks, Jamie. Jamie, I don't know. It's as simple as that. We just don't know. Um uh I I'm remiss, frankly, in not asking Jay Stratton about that. I will. Um, what I can tell you is as is the case right now, there is a continuing effort to cover up and hide UAP retrievalss and reverse engineering. And I just don't think there's any willingness at the moment in the majority of people in either the Congress or the administration or indeed in the defense department to tell the
1:36:30 public the truth about what they really know. I mean, what we've got here today is categorical evidence. categorical evidence of some group of people saying they've had firthand contact with a nonhuman being and evidence of them witnessing the crash of a nonhuman craft, an alien craft. It really is quite extraordinary. If the Congress, if the US administration under President Trump, if they choose to ignore this evidence, they're turning a blind eye to categorical evidence that frankly, I think would convince a jury in any criminal trial. Maybe Megan, just for the moment, you wouldn't mind muting your mic just for the moment. >> Absolutely right. Of course. >> Um, give us another question, Andy. Are there any more? >> Yeah, we've got a few. Um, and this next one dubtales off of what you were just saying about whether the US government's going to do anything. This viewer is asking, "Why would our government, meaning the United States government,
1:37:31 say anything or acknowledge any event from decades ago in Brazil? There's no vested interest." Your reaction there? >> Well, you say that there is no vested interest for the US government to reveal that it has possession of non-human technology and alleged biologics, alien beings. And I guess that goes if you accept that it's important for the US government to conceal this. Unfortunately, as we know from the evidence that's been given by David Grush, and by other witnesses, Chris Melon, Lu Alzando, a lot of what's been going on in this legacy retrieval and reverse engineering program has been allegedly illegal, if not criminal. And the the issue is do we care about whether or not Congress is properly properly oversighted and informed and if the correct accountability controls are applied as is required by the United States Constitution. If we don't care
1:38:32 about that anymore, if we just live in a national security state where the executive of the Trump administration can basically say, "We're not going to answer your questions. We're just going to ignore you." Then I guess you could say that yes, the government does have a vested interest clearly in keeping this quiet. But this is a a government that was founded on a constitution that says that government is for the people and by the people. And frankly, it doesn't have the ability to operate without accountability to Congress when public money is being expended. And that's the issue here is that yeah, sure, you can make sweeping assertions of national security. You can try and keep things quiet, but courageous people like these witnesses are coming forward and saying, "This happened. I was offered inducements. I was threatened. I was offered a bribe. People have been bullied, intimidated, threatened with the loss of their careers." Ultimately, do we care about that? I
1:39:34 think we should. And just because government has a vested interest in preserving the national security of what they're asserting here, why do they have any right to keep secret from the human race that they are aware of the existence of a non-human intelligence? I think it's completely untenable. Any more, Andy? >> Oh, yeah. We've got a a ton of comments here. One second. This person wants to know a little bit about um we heard from a Brazilian senator, but their question is about, you know, people who maybe don't know a lot about Brazil. Do they have a Congress? And if so, are they currently historically questioning their own government about this UAP? They are they actually do have a congress and they've indicated to me and to other people that they are planning to have hearings that there is a plan to have hearings both on Vajinhar and on the uh other operation that was referred to by the Brazilian senator operation prato operation plate and this is a very very interesting investigation that was done by the Brazilian military where they
1:40:37 investigated UAPs that had harassed overflown and in some cases has allegedly injured villages in remote Brazilian villages. Um, Brazilian members of those military uh, groups came forward subsequently and admitted that they had been part of essentially a cover up by the government, the Brazilian government again at the instigation of the United States. Why? Why would the United States want to keep secret from the public, the world, the fact that it's aware of the existence of a nonhuman technology, a nonhuman intelligence? That's the issue that's at the heart of this press conference today. James Fox is presenting categorical evidence. Evidence that I think would sway any jury in a criminal trial far beyond beyond reasonable doubt, which is the burden of proof we use to substantiate a criminal case. These witnesses are putting themselves forward to be cross-examined. They're
1:41:38 willing to take questions from the audience. They're very prepared to testify about what they say they saw and what they say was said to them and and threatened at them by officials both from the Brazilian and I suspect also from the American government. Next question, Andy. >> You got it. This question is about uh the Virginia crash. With US being involved as as is being alleged here with the retrieval and cover up of this craft, do we think the United States was potentially responsible for downing the craft as >> That's a very good question and it's totally speculative, but we do know that the witness uh the uh geography professor who spoke at the beginning who says that he saw the craft clearly damaged in and about to crash. He says that he saw what appeared to be damage in the rear of the craft. some kind of damage that had been caused to it. So unless that craft had had some accident or crash, I don't think it's outside the
1:42:40 realm of possibility that it was hit with artillery in some way. And we do know that at the time there were American bases in Brazil, but it's just as possible that this was some kind of surfaceto-air or air-to-air missile that was fired by the Brazilians. We just don't know. What we do know is that there have been incidences of attempted shootowns and shootowns more recently in US military ranges in the United States using high pulse microwave weapons that have been used to bring down nonhuman craft. Um the press conference is still ongoing. I just want to get back to Megan on the floor very briefly. Megan, >> you're in the crowd there. What's the feeling from people around you? >> I'm I'm gonna give you a little look around. I I can see Carlos over here to to the right. He's decompressing a little bit. So, I'm just going to give
1:43:41 you guys a little view of what I'm If you can see him over, can you see him over there in the in the corner? Stand >> He's he's decompressing. We've got a lot of people socializing. I'm just trying to look over here for repar. I can I can see him over here. >> Clearly, people are moved by this evidence. You get the impression that these witnesses evidences, their testimonies are are resounding with the >> Oh, absolutely. When it's been absolutely packed in here. Almost every single seat has been taken and people are all talking about it. that they what they've seen. They're all collaborating right now. I'm hoping the rep for listen can get up and say what he thinks. But you know what I think I'm going to do? If you guys could give me a minute, I would love to go back with our news from who's taking the big talk. Let me see if I can get a news microphone. I'd love to run over to listen and see if questions
1:44:43 leave here. >> In the meantime, I'll take >> and I'll try to grab Carlos as well. Okay, you take questions. I'm gonna try to grab some people. >> I have questions, Ross. And I can also we can replay any of the witness testimony. We can replay any of the uh we have James's opening. We have the senator from Brazil, the pathologist. So, anything you want to call for, I've >> No problem at all. F keep on firing with those viewer comments and questions. Andy, I think people are interested to get some feedback. So, let's give them >> This one's a This one is a little long. You may may or may not have an answer, but it's it's asking about your sources specifically on this case. Do you have sources within the program who worked on this craft or biologics, you know, that were recovered? And if so, what cases, what other cases have people from within the confirmed program uh been working on? That seems to be question here. >> I I have to be very careful here because I have to protect sources. So I I can't say which craft and which biologics my sources have worked on because that enables identification of them or at
1:45:44 least it reduces it to a very narrow group of people. You are correct. I am talking to people in the program and this when we talk about this this is a covert program which is allegedly operating illegally at least according to people in Congress who are aware of this which is involved in the retrieval and the attempted reverse engineering of nonhuman craft. It also involves the investigation of alleged biologics as we call nonhuman beings in highly intelligent beings that are actually operating these craft. Incredibly, yes, there are people there are sources who are speaking to me and other people who are coming forward privately saying they want to give evidence, but they're terrified at the moment because what they're seeing is a latitude from Congress. They're not seeing, even though we have good people like Representative Eric Berles who's here at the conference today, they're not seeing
1:46:44 a momentum from the senior people in Congress who should be taking leadership on this. One of the great disappointments, frankly, at the moment is we have people in the current administration, President Trump's administration, like President Trump himself, Marco Rubio, the secretary of state and the acting national security adviser, John Ratcliffe, the CIA director, Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, Cash Patel, the head of the FBI. All of these people have pledged accountability and transparency and openness when they were not in government. Now that they've come into government, they all seem to have suffered a collective amnesia and forgotten what they've promised the public. President Trump himself offered to be more transparent about the UAP videos that are allegedly being held by the Pentagon and the intelligence community. And we have not seen a whisper from the president on this issue. And frankly, there's going to be no change in that unless and until
1:47:45 momentum builds in Congress. But yes, there are sources that are talking about the recovery of individual craft. I'm not going to say which ones and which incidents, but Vinha is probably one of them. Let's say that. >> All right, Rosco. Uh, this next question is, well, I'll put it up on the screen. We can talk whether we want to say it. What observations have been made from the physical appearance of the NHI that might give an indication as to what its natural environment was like? Maybe wherever it came from? Any anybody to speak to that? >> Yeah. Well, it's fascinating to me. I mean, this is literally a three-dimensional representation of the Vajinha being that I was sent by a very nice gentleman in Scotland who does this kind of 3D modeling. And what the witnesses describe is a brown being with uh slight horn objects above its forehead. Um oagenous skin, oily skin
1:48:47 and um some people say red eyes. Other people give a different color of red, a slightly softer red. But basically um uh it's humanoid. What's interesting about this is this is humanoid. Um, which is interesting. You'd wonder how often in the universe an alien intelligent species evolves to have arms, legs, eyes, binocular vision like humans. What's going on here? Is there some connection between us and them? Um, we don't know a lot frankly about the biologics because um, I suspect there is a facility I'm aware of on the east coast near Washington DC where a lot of these biologics are taken and frankly the United States is sitting on the evidence and denying publicly any knowledge of extraterrestrial engagement with this planet. It's going to be very funny after this press conference to see how the government responds in in light
1:49:47 of the fact that we do have firstirhand evidence from witnesses. We're talking here about witnesses who are saying they have had not only visual contact with with a being but also with their craft but also telepathically communicating with that being. Um, James, incredibly, I wasn't aware he was going to be bringing this witness forward, but the witness who testified with his face disguised, was a Brazilian military soldier who had transported the being to the Campinius air base where allegedly an American aircraft arrived to take the being and the craft back to America. This is the witness here. I I think this is some of the most interesting evidence that somebody from the military from the Brazilian military has been prepared to testify that they witnessed the being and they were participating in the transportation of that being from Vajinha to the Campinius air base where
1:50:51 other witnesses have said an American cargo aircraft arrived without authorization and took the object, the craft and the being out of the country. Now, there must be, this is the intriguing thing here, and this is one of the reasons why James is so keen to have this press conference. There must be firsthand American military witnesses who were involved in this retrieval. Pilots, air crew, ground staff, people must have seen things. And if you do know something, please come forward. You can contact me through reality check or you can contact the Senate Intelligence Committee or the House Oversight Committee and you can come forward your with your evidence. The Disclosure Foundation is a group that can help you with legal advice, free legal advice to give you the ability to feel safe about coming forward as a whistleblower. There are steps that have been taken, legal protections that have been set up to
1:51:51 protect whistleblowers. Injubitably, there are people out there that know something. If it was 30 years ago, those people that were involved in those retrievalss are probably now retired and maybe sitting in a retirement home in, I don't know, Florida or Virginia somewhere and thinking to themselves, what do I do with this evidence? Believe me, your evidence is important and you should come forward. If what we're being told is correct, we are being lied to by our governments about the existence of a non-human intelligence on this planet. What could be more important than the biggest story in human history? Andy, >> uh, this next one is more of a comment, but it dovetales out of what you were saying about um, who might have the remnants of this case, and the comment is from James Cooper Mason. the American companies controlling the development of these craft allegedly uh that these craft are made out of has made Senate members, Congress members rich from
1:52:51 whatever they're smuggling. Can you just speak a little bit to uh the American you know aerospace industry and their role in collecting uh >> well okay this >> we know it's a matter of public record that a number of aerospace companies are significant major donors to key chairpeople in some of the key oversight committees. Looks like the uh conference is about to start again. Um, I don't know whether they're receiving quids directly, but certainly they're getting political donations. Here we go again. You ready? >> Our next Brazilian witness. Are we all here? Yes. Good. Mostly. All right. Our next Brazilian witness brings an essential perspective to one of the most difficult and still unresolved aspects of the Rajinia case. The sudden and
1:53:52 tragic Oh, no. Wrong person. >> Yep. No problem. >> I told you 3:00 a.m. [laughter] >> There's not enough coffee. >> We love you, Karen. >> Thank you. [laughter] Um, all right. Final Brazilian witness, Dr. Italo. No, wait, wait, wait. Is a physician specializing in neurology and neurosurgery with nearly five decades of experience in both clinical care and specialized neurological procedures. He is currently the leading neurosurgeon at regional hospital. He maintains a private practice and is also involved in healthcare management through his medical services company. For the first time in a public setting, we are honored to hear directly from Dr. Etolo, who will describe his face-to-face interaction with a captured living being of advanced non-human intelligence. An apparent survivor of the Varinia crash, his experience represents one of the most significant developments in the history of UAP investigations. Dr.
1:55:22 >> I held on to a very big secret for 29 years, sharing it only with a few medical colleagues, even though many others knew what I knew. In 2023, I revealed to James Fox and his team that I had seen a video of a nonhuman creature in the hospital on January 20th, 1996. After suffering a near fatal heart attack in 2024, I felt compelled to share more details of my experience
1:56:22 despite previous concern about consequences for my career. That afternoon in 1996, I was working at Baria Regional Hospital when my colleague and fellow neurosurgeon Marcus Venu Nevi urgently called me into an improvised intensive care room. He was carrying a large video camera. Entering. He showed me a black and white
1:57:23 video on the camera screen that appeared to be a child lying in bed with an extreme case of hydrophilis. >> I asked, "What is this?" He pointed past the makeshift partition where a being was lying. I got closer. The moment I looked at the being, I immediately knew it was not human. I first examined it as a med with a
1:58:23 medical perspective. Breathing well, no apparent pain, conscious, no bleeding. It seemed fine with a calm and serene It looked like a seven-year-old child with a sheet covering up to its waist. Its eyes were lilac and teardropshaped. The cranium was also teardropshaped. The skin was white, the arms were very thin, and the hand had three fingers and an opposing thumb. It had no nipples and
1:59:23 a tiny mouth. He looked at me, then looked at the blue sky through the window as if longing to be there, then looked back at me. After that, I sensed it was fully aware of what was happening around it and our intention to help. >> I felt it was grateful for the care and wanted to leave.
2:00:32 Its serenity and powerful presence led me to believe it had a very high level of intelligence and perception higher than human beings. It seemed like an angel with understanding and compassion in its gaze, aware that despite our limitations, we were doing the best we could for it. I stand before you with nothing to gain and everything to lose. I am not selling anything or asking for money.
2:01:48 You also testimony. Thanks. >> I still work as a neurosurgeon and I am here because everyone especially the younger generations deserve to know there is much more beyond human existence and I am eyewitness to the proof. Thank you. >> The simple humanity of these people shines through. They're they're they're telling the truth. It's very powerful. What courage this doctor and the other witnesses are showing. I just hope they get the response they We um Marco Leal myself and our team we got we have somebody I won't give too many details but it's a mole in one of
2:02:49 the hospitals several years ago there this is and we meet no phones extremely and uh this is the person you need to go talk to I would if I were you I'd go you It's like this person saw the video. How do you know? Because I'm friends with the doctor who he you know. So we went after Italo. He did not come after us. And we were trying to find the video cuz obviously that's the most that's the holy grail. If anybody out there thinks that I'm not giving it everything I've got. If I sat there and told you all the efforts to get a hold of the photographic evidence, we'd be here till We found and I I I jokingly describe him as trying to grab a bar of soap in the bathtub. You know, it was like he would kind of respond. He seemed like he was conflicted and then he would not not get back to us and then finally he agreed to meet with with Marco Leal and do a Zoom call. I think it was like 2023 and uh
2:03:50 and I was just fixated on the video. So I was asking him over the video with interpreter Marco Leal, you know, did you see the video? Did you see the video? And now I've adopted the nickname Oh my god. Because when I found out when he confessed to having seen the video, I was like, "Oh my god, where is it? Who shot it? Where?" You know? So, we were like, "All right, we're going back to Brazil. We're going to meet with the two forensic pathologists because that was a huge development." And now we had a potential lead to get our hands in the video. But we kept trying to get a hold of him over the next year. And then he had had he had a heart attack after he admitted the video, but he wasn't willing to go anything further at that point. That was the video was as far as he was willing to go. He had a heart attack. He said he was staring at the ICU, the ceiling, and thinking, I can't take this to the grave. If I get through this, I'm I'm going to meet with James' team and I'm going to reveal all. So, in 2025, in January, we uh went back to Brazil.
2:04:52 We were meeting with Dr. Armando and Dr. Janini and we were talking about the autopsy and the tissue samples and oh and by the way Dr. Armando could you get a hold of you know of course he's one of the most well-connected people in the within the medical community could you get a hold of Dr. Eelo oh yeah whips out his phone Dr. Elo they speak and he says uh meet him around the back side of the hospital tomorrow morning the backside. So our team, we're not going to ask any questions. We're on the backside. He sneaks us in the back of the hospital down through the various series of corridors and then right into the ICU. And that's when he decided to drop the bomb. And he did. And it got us all offguard. So I just want to say Dr. Italo, it takes tremendous courage for someone who's got so much to lose and nothing to gain. He's not making a dime. He's not selling a book. He's not trying to sell a documentary.
2:05:53 He's still working on people's brains. So, I know that courage is is infectious and it's it's strength in numbers. Today is marks the 30th anniversary of this incident. We're going back to Brazil in a couple of days, meeting with the mayor. There's we're going to be giving presentations. So, if anyone out there is listening to this, it's involved certainly on the American side, particularly on the Brazilian side. If you're ever thinking about coming forward, now's the time. We have a couple of closing statements that are very significant. I was contacted anonymously by a gentleman who happens to be sitting right over here right after I did a big Joe Rogan appearance on this case when the first version of Moment of Contact was released. This guy was really smart. I get contacted by people all the time. But he was like, "Yeah, this is where you look and the flight logs and this." because you know there was people coming forward in the Brazilian side saying yeah I saw the USA flight come in. So finally after like three months
2:06:53 anonymous correspondents I said excuse me um who are you? And he's like oh I'm actually a retired United States Air Force colonel and uh I'm also a fighter pilot and I had a pretty dramatic UFO encounter back in 1980 which coincidentally was covered up. H okay that explains it. So he eventually uh came forward uh to share publicly his UFO encounter. But today he's here to talk about something I feel is extremely significant and that is this potential flight that came in from the United States of America in January of 1996. So without further ado, Colonel Clausen, thank you so much for being here today. Here we go. [applause] My name is Fred Clawson. I'm a retired
2:07:54 US Air Force Bird Colonel and fighter pilot. I have more than 4,000 hours of flying time in the F-15, the F4, and I flew combat missions in the F105 during Vietnam conflict. I was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross twice and held a top secret SCI clearance. While flying the F-15, I intercepted a UFO. I took gun camera film which was immediately confiscated. But that's another story for another Today I am speaking on another matter, a matter that requires world attention. According to several Brazilian authorities, including air traffic controller Marcos Ferz, [clears throat]
2:08:55 on or about the 20th of January 1996, a US Air Force cargo plane, most likely a C17, took off from a base in the US and it flew secretly into Brazilian airspace without flight clearance from Brazil. Ian government and it landed at airport in Capinis. While at Capinis, witnesses talked of it loading an unusual cargo, then departing to an unknown location in the United States. If true, I am certain that 30 to 40 Americans had direct knowledge of this flight and its purpose. I will now walk you through a potential
2:09:55 paper trail this mission could have left In order to secure a cargo plane, a specific protocol must be adhered to. The tasking would be sent to Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, who has command authority over all US Air Force cargo aircraft and refueling tankers. The paper trail has begun. Air Mobility Command transmiss transmits a mission order to the Air Mobility Wing at Charleston Air Force Base, South Another paper trail at Charleston. A crew is selected for the mission and a C17 cargo aircraft is made ready.
2:10:57 The distance from Charleston to Capinis, Brazil is roughly 4500 miles. The unrefueled range of a C17 is about 2500 miles. air refueling by KC 135 would be More people in the no and another paper An international flight plan to Brazil is required even if the mission is classified. Paper trail. On board the C17 is a minimum crew of a pilot, co-pilot, and loadmaster, but due to the nature of the mission, probably more. maybe CIA and a general officer.
2:11:57 The C17 lands at Capinus and must be Who pays for the fuel and where's the Before departing Capinis, another international flight plan must be filed. Again, more paper trail. The C17 flies back to the United States with tanker support and lands at an As you can see from this possible scenario, I estimate that at least 30 to 40 Americans have direct knowledge of this mission. So here is my plea today. If you were a participant and have knowledge of the mission, come forward. You are probably retired now in your
2:12:58 70s, maybe a little older like me, and have languished for 30 years with this Come forward. We know this mission happened, and you know it, too. come forward. The time is now. Thank you. [applause] Wow. What a what a standup dive course. [applause] That's ex. And he's absolutely right. There will be >> Thank you, Colonel. >> Thank you, Colonel. Uh it was because of of Colonel Claus that we actually our team filed a um foyer request and that foyer request is in the latest cut of the film New Revelations, moment of contact, New Revelations and interestingly enough we filed it in 2022. We got a response back three years
2:13:59 and it was from the CIA. It was like essentially, you know, because of the 1949 National Security Act, blah blah blah, your request is denied. We can neither confirm nor, you know, just blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. So, this is why I'm hoping certain members of Congress might consider using their strength to see what you can dig up. That was for you and the rest of you guys. That's why we did this. So, we we need help. Okay. Uh we have one final statement from Kirk. Thank you, Kirk, by the way, about whistleblower protection and uh and specific legislation that he's worked on. So, without further ado, Kirk, welcome to the podium for the final statement. And then afterwards, Congressman Burlington's going to give a little statement. Thank you.
2:14:59 Um James asked me to uh put something together uh today um in um in response in a way to a segment of his recent film. Uh during uh uh as you'll see if you if you watch his recent film, you'll see that uh aerospace engineer Dr. Eric Davis, uh, one of the nation's most respected experts on UAP programs, including classified programs, uh, stated, uh, on camera that because of his national um, his um, uh, non-disclosure agreements, NDAs, because of the obligations of of his NDAs, uh, he believes that he cannot share further information with Congress about legacy uh, UAP programs without explicit authorization from the executive branch. Uh Eric is not alone in this belief. Many actual and potential UAP
2:16:03 have the same understanding of what uh what the law and regulations uh require of them or prohibit them from doing. Um, so this question uh of what executive branch employees and contractors are legally permitted to disclose to Congress is actually complex. Um, and it's not so easy to uh to summarize the entire issue of the problems that whistleblowers face in this short segment, but I'm going to try to uh to to uh at least give you an idea of what's at stake and what's involved. uh equally complex and far more consequential for individuals is what can happen to those who do choose to report wrongdoing in classified programs that have been deliberately withheld uh from Congress. I want to outline several key points because Congress and the American people
2:17:03 need to hear directly from more people uh with firstirhand knowledge of legacy UAP programs. And right now uh we're consistently uh informed. Uh there are many who do want to come forward who believe Congress and the public uh have a right to know but who are deterred uh by doing so uh uh deterred from doing so by fear. fear rooted in uh in in partially at least in misunderstanding of the law uh and uh partly also in the very real examples and experiences of retaliation to people who have come forward. Potential whistleblowers worry about prosecution for violating NDAs. As I was mentioned, they worry about the loss, they're fearful of the loss of their security clearances, the loss of their employment, and other forms of retaliation that are very difficult and costly to challenge even where formal
2:18:04 avenues of appeal uh exist. It is true that protections for whistleblowers, particularly those handling classified national security information, are often weak in practice despite the fact that there are uh laws and regulations uh ostensibly well they were uh passed and enacted uh to protect Sources who possess information about US government u UAP activities or who have witnessed UAP events have consistently reported threats to their livelihood and even their personal safety. Harassment in some cases uh has been severe. is publicly known, for example, that figures like David Grush and Lou Alzando, who have not disclosed f even firsthand information about legacy programs, have have faced clear However, and this point cannot be emphasized strongly enough,
2:19:04 whistleblowers very likely do not need to fear prosecution for providing classified information about legacy programs to Congress, provided that they do so through secure channels. That is to say, you don't just uh tell them in in a foyer of a of a Capitol Hill building. You need to arrange to be in a sensitive compartment and information facility in a skiff. Um okay. So um um what I mean to say is that laws and regulations are are very clear on this point. NDAs prohibit sharing classified information with unauthorized but Congress is by statute and regulations an authorized recipient of classified information. NDAs cannot legally be used to withhold classified programs or associated wrongdoing from congressional oversight.
2:20:06 This is explicit in law and regulation. Furthermore, the executive branch is required by law to report all special access and compartmented programs to Congress regardless of their Failure to comply with these laws is unlawful and unconstitutional. Certainly in the view of Congress, NDAs cannot be used as a shield to evade these Now, presidents have claimed in quotes plenary article 2 authority over sensitive national security information. plenary if you look it up in the dictionary means total unfettered unlimited and so on. But this is an inferred power not an explicit constitutional grant. That is you'll never see you don't see language in the constitution that states this. Congress holds uh equally strong article one authorities, entitling it uh to the
2:21:08 information it needs to legislate. I'm confident personally that the government would lose any serious legal challenge asserting that Congress is not authorized to receive sensitive classified information covered by executive branch non-disclosure In reality, for the reasons cited, although officials may threaten as far as I can tell, and those of other colleagues that I've worked with on this, no one has ever been prosecuted for providing classified information to Congress. Such a prosecution would require showing harm to national security, a claim nearly impossible to sustain when the disclosure is made to Congress itself. For these reasons, I believe the government would not pursue legal actions against whistleblowers who provide protected UAP disclosures to Congress in a secure setting. Judges, Congress, and the American people would not tolerate prosecuting
2:22:10 individuals for revealing truths that demonstrate Congress has been misled, has been lied to about issues of profound importance. But the fear of such such actions, this Alice in Wonderland dynamic remains a powerful deterrent and it must be addressed. So what can be done? There is in fact a straightforward solution. With the stroke of a pen and a public statement, even a social media post, the president could explicitly affirm that federal federal law allows protected disclosures to Congress because Congress is an authorized recipient of classified information covered by NDAs. It could be that simple. If the president or his cabinet members will not make this clear, then Congress should. In addition, congressional committees already possess the authority to grant immunity in exchange for testimony. That is to say, NDAs aside, if you appear in front of a congressional committee that has offered you immunity for your testimony, you
2:23:11 cannot be pro prosecuted for doing so. However, even if the threat of prosecution is largely a bluff, other forms of retaliation are real and damaging. These include the fabrication or exaggeration of uh allegations of security violations for individuals um uh leading to indefinite clearance investigations or revocations. Manufactured claims of misconduct or poor performance to justify termination of employment. Blackmarks placed in security files preventing future employment. Reassignment, isolation, marginalization, or hostile work administrative leave, uh, placing individuals on administrative leave with or without pay. for contractors, sudden quote changes to government requirements that simply eliminate their position and
2:24:13 their job. And if an individual must take another job during an appeals process simply to survive financially, because it takes months and months and months to grind through these uh appeals processes, um simply to survive uh financially, uh they may be forced to take another job. Well, if you take another job, you lose standing to pursue your case. Uh, whistleblowers can face financial ruin, as you can see, especially as legal expenses accumulate. Congress must address this fundamental problem and incentivize potential whistleblowers to come forward by establishing a rapid, assured mechanism to compensate them for lost wages and Some may ask uh understandably why UAP deserve special consideration over other whistleblowers. The answer to me is straightforward. The stakes are
2:25:13 extremely high when it comes to this topic. Few would dispute that the discovery of non-human intelligence visiting Earth would be an event of profound significance. The executive branch appears determined to keep this information secret at the highest making this a major policy decision, one that could place officials assigned to protect whistleblowers, such as inspectors general, in direct conflict with senior policy makers. These factors distinguish UAP related disclosures from typical cases of fraud, waste, and abuse. Congress may need to take a more active role even than I've s suggested so far in protecting these individuals, potentially by creating and administering a dedicated restitution fund and modifying current law to allow whistleblowers to go directly to Congress without first filing a complaint with an inspector with an
2:26:13 inspector general. That concludes my remarks. Thank you. Thank you, Kirk. Um, it's a complex issue. People just go, "Well, why don't they just come forward? It's so easy." It's actually not. [laughter] So, just trying to create an environment to enable people that do want to come forward, firsthand metal benders, people that are working in the labs. And I think it's important for the not just the public to understand, but the making the plea of members of Congress, the stakes are so high because I'm convinced obviously I can't prove it right now that they're hiding definitive proof that we're not alone and I understand the need for potential national security related issues on the technology. It falls into the wrong hands, you know, and they weaponize it. Okay, I understand that maybe there's the
2:27:15 acknowledgment that we have it, but the biologics that to me that doesn't pose a national security threat. So, why can't we release information on the biologics? Now, we have a closing statement, then we're going to open up the floor to Q&A. We have the space all day and then eventually we'll open it right up. So, if you guys want to directly interact with the witnesses, they'll be here for that. But if without further ado, I'd love to invite uh Representative Burlesen on stage to say a few thank you so much for being here. >> Thank you, Mr. James Fox. It's an honor to be with you today. Look, shortly after the film that by Oliver Stone was released about the assassination of JFK, Congress took action and passed the JFK Disclosure Act unanimously. They didn't they wouldn't have done that had it not been for an outcry from the public that
2:28:15 was demanding answers. And it's my hope that your film and others like it will create that kind of momentum and that out outcry because the truth is if if there's any government that's holding information about the knowledge of whether or not we are alone or not alone in the universe that is not for any government no matter how powerful it is to withhold from the rest of humanity. >> We are here to serve the people. This government belongs to you. You don't belong to the government. And never forget that. And so I'm here to serve you to try to get the truth to the people. We're working diligently to do that in the committee that I'm on. And I have a responsibility in that regard. I want to say thank you to these courageous individuals, my new friends
2:29:17 from Brazil. >> Thank you for your courage and your willingness to, you know, risk your reputations and your careers um for something that will benefit not just people of Brazil but the rest of the world. Thank you. >> Um, I want to say thank you to Kirk McConnell. He is he and others have been doing an amazing job at uh pushing this forward in a thoughtful way, helping people like me. I was a financial adviser and a software consultant. I had no idea when I ran for Congress that I would be doing this, but it's but folks like him have been extremely helpful and I couldn't do it without you. Thank you. [applause]
2:30:18 >> And and Colonel, I can't wait to get to know you more. Thank you so much for coming forward today. You're an inspiration for for for the rest of of those who are ser have You know, courage is contagious and you're an inspiration and hopefully you'll you'll compel more people to come forward. Appreciate that. >> We have we we've been given marching orders. We have legislation that we need to pass. We you know we've seen we've heard from a lot of witnesses. It's time for action and it's time to get the receipts. So, it's time to pass the UAP Disclosure Act and it's time to pass whistleblower protection within that or separate act. >> But I go back to my original statement.
2:31:20 The reason why so much information is currently today being released consistently that the agencies of this federal government never wanted to see the light of day is because Congress took action because the people demanded it. And I'm asking you, everyone here, and all the reporters here, and Leslie Keane, thank you for the the brave work that you did with the with the report in You destigmatized That one story destigmatized this entire topic and made it so that uh people could come forward. We need more people like Leslie Keane. We need reporters that are brave that are willing to publish stories and we need we need the social media warriors out there to to uh to continue to spread the the that act and push on members of Congress because otherwise they won't do anything about it. Thank you again and I'm I'm
2:32:20 proud to serve. [applause] >> Very interesting message from Eric Berles that the public need to let Congress know they care about this issue. That's fundamental. The wheel that squeaks gets the grease in politics. If you don't stand up and tell your politicians that you're concerned about this, nothing's going to happen. >> All right. As I come back into my body. Um, so this is the Q&A period. Congratulations. We've all survived it. Um, a few notes. Um, first of all, treat this like it's your house now. mostly no feet up on the the sofa, but um you know, take care of your your biological needs as you need to. Um you can so you can feel free to come and go. Like I said, we'll keep reiterating we have
2:33:20 time, so don't feel anxious about the questions. We'll get to them. You're going to treat me like ATC. So, you're looking for my attention. And um if you feel like I've missed you a couple times, you can start waving and shouting my name softly, nicely. um ground rule that I would like to kind of just set before everybody. We know we have a lot of different individuals in this community um who represent all manner of experiences on the spectrum, whether it's sighting or other kinds of direct contact experiences. We just ask that when you're asking your questions today that you keep it focused on the Virginia case and on the witnesses and presenters that are here today. We know that there's a lot of exciting topics to to unpack and we can certainly do that later when we're not in the Q&A period, but right now let's make the most of the time that we have that the guest for the guests who are here. Agreed. >> Yes. Agreed. Okay. All right. So now
2:34:21 just the mechanics of how this is going to work. We have mics here um so that you can direct your questions, you know, say who the questions for and then we'll allow that person to answer. We obviously have an interpreter um Elini here to help. And >> two two more interpreters who can help. >> Standby. Yeah. >> If we need that. We'll have I think two mics to pass around. We have one and one two. Got it. So we have two mics and I'm going to hang out here with you guys until we get through to the end. After that, um again, you can come up and say hi to us and we can hang out here till 5:00. There's a clock up there or on your phones or whatever. Okay, we feel ready. We're game. Yeah. All right. Are you c caught your is that a question or you just you're like oh yes guess. All right. So we first question right here just because he caught my eye and say your name. Oh and one more thing. >> Qu we're looking for questions not stories. Right. So if you guys start to have a long preamble I'm going to gently
2:35:21 but firmly interrupt you and invite you to wrap it up and get to your point with >> Thank you. Hex Noddingham from Norol, Virginia. I have a question for James and one for Berles, if I may. James, are you any closer to getting the video of the Vargia case and the orange UFO that looked alive that you spoke about >> Well, for the first time, we have names of those that were in possession of it. So, if that's closer, then yes, we are. But there are forces, powers that be out there that we're just trying to see who can get there faster. So yeah, and um I never give up. Case in point, I heard about the Calvine UFO photograph that was taken in 1990 from the former Ministry of Defense, Nick Pope. And I thank God to David Clark. But I never let that go. And eventually, I think it was what, the better part of 30 years, perhaps more. Um, yeah, 33
2:36:23 years, I think it was. And then we we we eventually covered that in in the program. But that to to give you an idea, like I don't I don't just give up. I'll keep going until I either die or I find it. [laughter] So that's it. >> All right. So So I'm going to go back and forth here. So I saw Whitley, but then I'll come here and then we'll just we'll just ping pong back and forth. I see you guys in the back, so I'll come to you next. Okay. My name is Whitley Strieber and I have a question. [applause and cheering] Thank you. Thanks. Thanks very much. I have a question from the Soul Foundation discussion thread for Colonel Clawson. Uh it is that one would think if there is a secret crash retrieval program that those people in airplanes outside operate outside of normal procedures. Therefore, there's unlikely to be a paper trail there. What about the possibility of finding a paper trail in the countries where they may have landed
2:37:25 such as Brazil to refuel? >> Thank you. Uh Mr. Screamer, >> you have the American embassy in Brazil and connected with American embassy is a position called the defense attache. Um his job is the leazison with Brazilian military and he is supposed to know everything that is happening in the country of Brazil related to Brazilian military. He probably knew the day that the uh UFO He probably knew of the blockade um and was probably aware of the United States intense desire to come in collect the wreckage and the ET bodies. There has to be a paper trail at the
2:38:28 There has to be a connection from the embassy who works for the state to relate this information to state and the Pentagon and that would have been uh done by some kind of written So I believe paper trail starts there. Not only with the air crew flying the which even if it's a secret mission they have to fly file an international flight plan that's on file somewhere. The Air Force has archives at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. Washington DC, they have archives where the FAA would keep all their archived records. So one day, if I stay young, I'm going to go on that search. Thank you.
2:39:36 >> Thank you. I'm Dr. Enrico Melson. Um I'm interested in specifically the question is regarding the micro bacteria >> uh I'm a former epidemiologist uh with the CDC epidemic intelligence service was my training so I am curious if there is any more information that could be offered here regarding this possible identification of a microacterium of extraterrestrial origin. That would be two issues. Not only a gross full-size specimen, but also extraterrestrial This route raised the question potentially of environmental exposure, possibly epidemic.
2:40:37 Was there any further detail available to you as the pathologist uh that you could share with us as to how that possibility was handled? Thank It's unfortunate that Dr. Janini is not here present with us today. >> He was the forensic doctor that was responsible for the case, not the The body arrived to him for autopsy with suspicion of professional error.
2:41:48 15 or 20 days later, the report came from the analysis um to him talking about the bacteria. We have copies here. >> It's available for anyone. If you scan the QR codes, you get not only the videos that we showed, but also some of these documents, the Portuguese version and the English version. This bacteria actually exists on planet Earth, but it's not very common. >> It's not very common for human beings to be infected by this bacteria. And Dr. Janini would love to actually exume the body of the soldier to try to find traces of this bacteria in the
2:42:56 >> If we manage to get uh approval from the family and the local authorities to do So we can try to better understand the behavior and nature of this bacteria that's not very common in our >> The specialist doesn't create nor But Dr. Janini talks about the >> due to the circumstances that we were made aware of years later. >> Like the sister of the soldier that we
2:43:58 saw in the video earlier. that he would have captured this extraterrestrial with his bare hands. Perhaps then um the the officer was inoculated by this bacteria and despite all care that he received he did not resist because it was a very strong one >> as doctors He was a doctor with the police before
2:44:59 he went into being a forensic pathologist. So, he really knows what he's talking about. into the scientists, >> as he's said personally already. search and to find ways to look for the residue at the crash site of the If at the farm which is the location of the crash site, if there would be any residue of this ship in this crash.
2:46:04 partership between the US >> because when Carlos talks about this material that crumpled in his hand and took back its original shape, he's never heard something like that before. And from the medical perspective, it would be the exuming of the body to study any possible vestages of this bacteria in the DNA. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Yes. Yes. [applause] On this side, anybody over here? >> Thank you. Thank you all so much for being here, for your courage and for speaking your truth. Uh this qu question is for Dr. Italo. Um Dr. Italo, uh have you had any sort of contact with um any non-human
2:47:07 intelligence, whether it's an alien or an angel, uh since your contact experience in Virginia 30 years ago? And if so, what was that like? Can you give us some details? If not, thank you Since when I entered that intensive care room, [snorts] >> it was something unexpected to me because I was hope I was expecting to see a patient.
2:48:08 Even when we have human patients, we're always curious to see how they're doing. So, he lives nearby the hospital and even when it's not his shift, he will come back around to the hospital to check on his patients. It's important for them to see the evolution of the patients and how they're getting better because you're very interested in seeing them get through their sicknesses. >> And on this case, mentally, he goes back to the room every day. This past night, he actually dreamed about the potassium levels of this being in the room. >> It's just a thought. I don't have telepathic communication.
2:49:11 It's a thought. But for him, every time he walks past that room, he wants to go in and examine this being. Not only with this case, but when he operates on children, for example, there's certain patients that he feels more affinity with. So with this one because he works on the room right next to the room where the being was that's a constant thing in his mind. >> But so to answer the question that he asked it sounds like you haven't had further contact with any other beings since that moment. >> No not. >> Okay. Yeah. Because he did and he chose
2:50:12 to go more into describing what that being was. >> Okay. Thank you. Yeah. um white shirt. >> Yeah. Hi, Max Walanski. Uh also a question to the doctor Italo. >> All right. I watched the movie. I watched your uh interview which you gave on YouTube and of course thank you very much for everything you told us today. However, it's very interesting besides of looking at the patient uh non-human being uh what kind of medical procedures or what else actually what kind of interaction did you have any x-rays anything else if you can talk uh more and a little deeper about your interaction in that room. I think from the movie uh
2:51:12 >> James I think from the movie I remember that uh some episode about this bean being present in X-ray room as >> Yeah, that was from a different testimony uh from an X-ray gentleman who wanted to remain anonymous. We had actually identified him 5 years before we ultimately got him to come forward anonymously. He provided all the details needed to verify who he was, but he didn't want his name. But yes, he took X-rays of what one would think was a deceased um being. Right. So, can we know a little bit more, a little bit deeper about this medical examination? What actually did you do besides of communicating with him telepathically and just looking at him and observing >> Thank you. >> What else can be done? >> Thank you. was done. I'm sorry. >> When I entered the room, I saw the video
2:52:16 >> that was materials next to the being um showing that there was a small surgery that was performed. >> It looked like the doctor um stitched up um the being, >> nothing too long or too big. when he looked at the being, >> he was more facing the window. >> And we're trained to look from a medical >> if he was conscientious, if it had pain, >> if he was bleeding, >> if he was agitated, And initially everything was okay. But then this being stopped looking at him and looked at the window >> and then went back to looking at him.
2:53:17 >> And in that second moment, he wasn't there just as a doctor anymore. He was looking at him with other psychic and cognitive capabilities. If he was really understanding, if it was attentive, if it was focused, >> if it was really understanding in the temporal spacial awareness of the and now it was the contact between two beings and for him it was very interesting and he showed a lot of intelligence from the way the being looked at everything
2:54:21 like when you're talking to someone they look at you they get distracted. They look around. >> The being was looking straight at him. To live in that moment, >> to practice presence. So the more he looked at the being, the more he felt a feeling of peace, >> transmitting peace. Accidental
2:55:22 people they look with judgment. Is it tall? Is it short? Is it fat? Is it slim? >> there was a gaze of comprehension. This being looked at everything that was as if it was taking in all the notes of everything that was around it. >> Like a great observer of everything that was happening around it. Not only just despite looking at just him this being was aware of everything that was around as you asked in the beginning it was the medical assessment
2:56:26 and after he [clears throat] looked at the window and looked back at him felt like the page flipped. Then it became another situation. >> Beautiful answer. >> I have to interrupt just for a quick second a gentleman here that has to be acknowledged. Camilo, can somebody get this gentleman a microphone? He's at the at the back over by the exit. I want you to say just one word. Without his support, financial support, this event would not have happened. >> Thank you for being here, my man. Thank you. [applause] Please just say a quick word. >> No, no, thanks everyone. I'm a very big supporter of of James and the cause and and disclosure and I mean I I really it's all up for you guys. >> Thank you. >> Thank you so much for believing in us. >> Thank you Camilo. >> You have glasses. >> I see you >> in charge of the >> It's coming. >> Sorry. Please stand by.
2:57:29 >> Thank you. >> My name is Thomas Heheart. Is Representative Berles still here? >> He left. >> No, no, no, no. He's in the hallway out there talking to somebody. >> Oh, okay. [laughter] But he's not here to answer your >> He's in the hallway. >> So, maybe I'll try to catch up with him personally. But to the gentleman who might be aware, the American gentleman >> uh may be able to answer this. We as Americans all know how divisive and Congress is, especially with this very brief attention span. We're focused on something and then on to the next. What's the reality of a a real road map to [snorts] bipartisan What's where are we currently as far as the temperature, the appetite, and where do we need to be to have it become a reality? >> Don't forget your mic.
2:58:30 >> Yeah, I'm I'm reluctant to uh try to speak u uh for for Congress. um uh my uh former colleagues and uh and [clears throat] bosses uh uh wouldn't wouldn't appreciate me opining about such matters. Uh staff are supposed to be uh neither seen nor heard. We're uh we're uh we're anonymous people. So I'm I'll just make a few comments uh of a completely personal nature and not necessarily claiming any uh any special insight especially two years after after I retired. [clears throat] Um I do I do think that uh this issue is bipartisan in nature. It has uh it has been u uh it has been that way since uh since I started getting involved in uh in in the matter uh eight years ago.
2:59:34 Um at the same time there are nuances. I think that uh uh on the Democratic side there's a tendency to to uh look at this as another in a long series of conspiracy theories that uh uh that that there's this sort of defies belief and that uh that they might feel like they're the party that needs to uh that needs to stick to proven science and and and um and therefore to be skeptical about this story. Um you know the Democrats are more inclined towards uh believing in the reality of of climate change and the efficacy of vaccines let's say um and they claim the mantle of uh of science uh regarding those issues. I think that um uh they
3:00:36 therefore are are a little more uh reluctant to embrace uh this uh this this uh reality. Um I think that they also are looking to uh the academic community to to uh pass judgment on this. And to date uh the stigma around this issue has certainly uh dominated uh what you hear uh from and see from academia. Um so that's a that's a little bit of a of a uh of a difference uh in opinion. The other thing I would uh I would say uh is that uh we're not yet uh at the what I would call the tipping point for uh for most members of Congress in terms of um of hard evidence for the reality of this. Um, I personally think that if people had the time and took the trouble
3:01:38 to read everything that uh that really is out there after eight years, I've read a lot, but I'm still scratching the surface that I [clears throat] think um there's plenty of evidence uh to support uh the belief in the reality of this. But we haven't reached that point with members yet. And hence uh there's a feeling on Capitol Hill that more witnesses uh call them whistleblowers with direct firsthand knowledge uh that more of them are needed to give Congress the um uh the conviction that there's a reality here that that needs to be investigated in a the most serious ious way, you know, such as the Watergate hearings, uh, Iran Contra, the Church Pike committees about the excesses of, uh, the intelligence agencies and the FBI
3:02:40 back in the 70s. Those that that kind of serious investigation. Um, Congress has not obviously not yet reached that tipping point. Um, >> we're listening here. >> Yeah. Well, I I I would defer to uh to the real expert who who has an election certificate uh to [laughter] >> to answer your answer your question. >> I just gave him the mic. >> All right. Great. >> So, I was just called out of the So, is the question was it about bipartisan efforts? How that would work? >> What's the best case scenario? >> Well, correct. the focus because obviously we as Americans all know that the focus is so detached based on the issue of the day. What is the current temperature of Congress towards the reality of pushing it to the level that you spoke about making it a serious issue that a large majority of Americans back
3:03:41 as opposed to just a fringe issue? What's going to give it steam for bipartisan support? >> Yeah. So, I think I think that this topic is bipartisan. It's it's strangely like you have myself. I'm one of the most conservative members of Congress and then I'm I'm working with Moscowitz who is certainly not a conservative [laughter] and and on this topic. you have a lot of Democrats that I'm working with to try to to try to get this disclosure done. um one Democrat and he hasn't come out publicly that he's that he's an advocate for this topic yet. So I'm not gonna out him if you will, but he he has been extremely helpful in getting other committee chairman to sign off on four corners agreements to try to get the previously to get the the UAP disclosure act language added to the National Defense Authorization Act. And so, you know, I have to have somebody that's a Democrat that's an advocate to
3:04:42 try to get the Dem the my the ranking members on the Democratic side to approve or at least not reject that language being added. And so, that's kind of where where it stands. I honestly I don't see that we have a problem Republican versus Democrat. It's more of a gatekeepers who are connected to the intelligence community who seem to be often in leadership in one way, shape or form whether it's you know you top like the leadership that you think of or it's someone that's in a committee chairmanship role who or their staff. What I've learned about Washington DC that's disturbing is that staff tend to run the show and particularly and I'm not I mean [clears throat] I won't pull punches here in a Senate when you have a lot of people that are that probably are one step away from a retirement home and they and you one wonders how how do they
3:05:43 possibly run their office? Well, they're not the ones running the office. The staff run the office. So that's that's kind of the situation that we're facing. It's that you've got a very difficult time identifying who the real, you know, ob who the real obstacle is. So that's why it's going to take momentum and political pressure so that we can overcome that. >> Thank you. Thank [applause] >> Yes, you in the back. Uh, hello. My name is >> Now you Oh, sorry. I was looking at you, >> Ross. At the moment, we can't hear you. >> thank you. Thank you. >> Uh, my apologies. Um, I I think it's time for us to pull out of this press conference because we've got other commitments to uh cover ourselves, but we will be bringing you uh follow-up interviews that Megan's done from the floor and background from Megan uh in
3:06:45 our following Q&A. this week. Um, it's been a very interesting press conference. It's interesting to hear witnesses firsthand with their evidence describing what they saw, what they felt, and what they actually telepathically received from allegedly a nonhuman being. Interesting though to come out on Eric Berles, Representative Eric Berles's comments there. Frankly, nothing's going to happen unless Congress gets momentum. And that's where you, the audience, come in, the viewers. You need to let Congress know this is something you're concerned about. In politics, it's the wheel that gets the grease. The wheel that squeaks gets the grease. So, for heaven's sake, let your Congress people know. Let your senators know that this is an issue that concerns you. And if you are a witness out there that has firsthand knowledge of the Vahinar case, please think about coming forward. There are protections, there
3:07:46 are disclosure laws, whistleblower protection laws. You can contact James Fox, you can contact myself, or you can speak directly with the people in the Senate, uh, and they can put you on to the right people. The Disclosure Foundation is a good starting point. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us for what has been, I think, an historic press conference. Megan, I want to say thank you very much to you for being on the ground there and for tracking the story on the floor. It's been great to get your feedback from the >> And uh I look forward to talking to you in a future reality check where we can go into more detail of what you get behind the scenes, especially any further questions that you think might be interesting. But for now, we're going to bail out of this and we look forward to seeing you again on Reality Check on a future show. Thank you very much. All the best.
