Person
Travis Walton
Also known as Walton
- Logging crew member
Travis Walton was a member of a forestry crew in Arizona's Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest who, his crewmates said, was struck by a beam of light from a glowing craft on 5 November 1975 and disappeared for five days. He says he was taken aboard by non-human beings. His book The Walton Experience (1978) became the film Fire in the Sky (1993); sceptics argue the event was a hoax. Interviews from 1975 onward are filed here.
