Barney & Betty Hill

Also known as Betty Hill, Barney Hill

Barney Hill (1922–1969), a postal worker, and Betty Hill (1919–2004), a social worker, were a civil-rights-active couple from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, whose report of being followed by a craft in September 1961, and later of being taken aboard under hypnosis, became widely known through John G. Fuller's The Interrupted Journey (1966).

Their psychiatrist, Benjamin Simon, concluded the abduction was most likely a "singular psychological aberration". Recordings of their hypnosis sessions and a 1999 interview with Betty are filed here.
