Richard French is a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and former fighter pilot (Korea, Vietnam). At the 2013 Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, on its "History & Background" and "Pilots & Aviation Experts" panels, he testified that he was sent by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations district commander to investigate an object reported in the water off Newfoundland.
