Kevin Randle

Also known as Kevin D. Randle, Randle

Kevin Randle is an American writer and retired lieutenant colonel who flew helicopters in Vietnam, served as an Air Force intelligence and public affairs officer, and deployed to Iraq with the Iowa National Guard before retiring in 2009. The author of more than 80 books, mostly science fiction and history, he is best known for his work on the 1947 Roswell case, beginning with UFO Crash at Roswell (1991) with Donald Schmitt, with whom he broke in 1995 over Schmitt's false claims about his background.

At the 2013 Citizen Hearing he testified on the Roswell witnesses and on documents that he argues undermine the Air Force's Project Mogul explanation, such as the diary entry showing Mogul flight 4 was cancelled. He was also candid that there is no 1947 documentation of bodies. In recent years he has become more sceptical of some Roswell testimony. His military service is real; on Roswell he is a researcher, not a witness.
