Glimpses
Put another way, we have about ten years to turn the situation around and invalidate the above prediction that is based on our present trajectory.
Light at the End of the Tunnel (AuthorHouse, 2010) is a self-published book by Paul Hellyer, Canada's Minister of National Defence in the 1960s, who in 2005 became the first former cabinet minister of a G8 country to say publicly that UFOs are real. It combines his long-standing campaigns on monetary reform and the environment with the extraterrestrial question, which he presents as part of a "survival plan for the human species".
In promoting it, Hellyer said there is an extraterrestrial presence on the planet in contact with at least one government. Parts of the book relay accounts that are not his own: it reads from the claims of the self-described abductee Jim Sparks about advice from extraterrestrials. His statements on the subject rest on what others have told him and on his own reading, not on records he saw in office.
