Glimpses
We went to the site where something had landed, and found the three indentations 1.5 inches deep and approximately 12 inches across on the ground in a triangular pattern.
It sent down a concentrated, white beam - a small, dense pencil-like beam, like a laser beam – very near to where I was standing.
However, in the United States, our UFO wave wasn’t handled at all. Not a thing was done by any branch of our government.
I would not want to see another governor go through what I did in 1997, and it’s only a matter of time before it will happen again.
The American people – and people around the world – want to know, and they can handle the truth.
The standard reference book of official testimony before 2017. Its contributors are pilots and officials speaking on the record, the same sourcing standard this archive uses. It grew out of the 2007 National Press Club panel that Kean organised.
Most chapters are written by the witnesses themselves rather than retold: among them Col. Charles Halt on Rendlesham, Maj. Gen. Wilfried De Brouwer on the Belgian wave, Gen. Parviz Jafari on the 1976 Tehran intercept, Júlio Guerra of the Portuguese Air Force, and former Arizona governor Fife Symington on the 1997 Phoenix lights and why he mocked the sighting in public. Kean has posted two chapter excerpts with the publisher's permission.
