Glimpses

A black triangle aircraft, no wings, no tail, no exhaust, no visible propulsion of any kind, as if the fundamental laws of physics simply didn’t apply.

Our bait would be a nuclear submarine. Draw a UAP in close enough to monitor, track, and if possible, capture or recover.

[The source] said that there was indeed a crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 … The crash broke into two pieces, and everything was recovered—the crash and non-human bodies.

Some were dead on arrival. Others, allegedly, were alive but later perished, refusing food or contact. Communication was limited and often futile.

Out of the Shadows: Revealing the Truth About Non-Human Intelligent Life (William Morrow, 13 October 2026) is the memoir of Jay Stratton, the DIA official who was the first director of the Pentagon's UAP Task Force and who led U.S. government UAP investigations for more than 16 years, including the 2004 Nimitz case. It entered The New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction list at No. 3 in its first week.

In the book, as in the documentary The Age of Disclosure (2025), Stratton says the United States holds craft of non-human origin. His claims are filed with his record; no official record released so far confirms them.

Passages read on Fox News and quoted by People give the book's two strongest claims in Stratton's words: a source's account that a craft crashed at Roswell in 1947, broke in two and was recovered with non-human bodies, some alive for a time; and a plan to use a nuclear submarine as "bait" to draw a UAP close enough to track and, if possible, recover. He dates his own turning point to an autumn day in 2005, when a colleague showed him classified video of a silent black triangle near a nuclear weapons site. These are his and his sources' accounts.
