Glimpses

How did it all get started? After some 20 + years for my co-author Rick Doty and 18 years for me we still ask that question considering all the turmoil associated with the subject.

Cover of Exempt from Disclosure: The Disturbing Case About the UFO Coverup

Exempt from Disclosure (Peregrine Communications, 2005) is by Robert Collins, a former Air Force officer at Wright-Patterson, with the former AFOSI agent Richard Doty and the researcher Timothy Cooper. It presents what its authors say they learned from inside sources about a secret government UFO programme: recovered craft and beings, stored at Wright-Patterson and Los Alamos, and the "black world" of classified projects. Collins and Doty were among the sources known in UFO circles in the 1980s by bird code names.

It must be read with Doty's record in mind: by his own account his work at AFOSI included feeding false UFO stories to researchers, notably Paul Bennewitz, and his name is attached to documents, such as some of the MJ-12 papers, that the FBI and others judged forged. The book's claims have no documentary support. Doty is filed as disputed.
