National Press Club panel on UFOs and aviation safety

Also known as National Press Club 2007, NPC 2007

On 12 November 2007, journalist Leslie Kean and filmmaker James Fox brought together current and former military officers, pilots and government officials from Belgium, Chile, France, Iran, Peru, the UK and the U.S. at the National Press Club in Washington. Former Arizona governor Fife Symington moderated.

Speakers described official cases from their own countries, including the 1976 Tehran F-4 intercept, Rendlesham Forest, the Belgian wave, the 2007 Alderney sighting and the JAL 1628 encounter. The panellists signed a request asking the U.S. government to reopen the investigation that had ended with Project Blue Book in 1969.
