PLA researchers describe using AI to track rising UAP reports
In June 2021, the South China Morning Post reported on a paper by People's Liberation Army researchers describing artificial-intelligence methods for analysing a rapidly growing number of UAP reports, which they framed as a potential security issue for China.
The report came weeks before the U.S. ODNI published its preliminary assessment on UAP, and is one of the few public indications of how China's military approaches the subject.
