Glimpses
The drawings were impressive; they were similar enough for me to acknowledge that the children were obviously seeing the same object and yet diverse enough to realize that there had been no collaboration among them.
I’m convinced that UFOs, whatever they are, are curious about events initiated by human beings.
UFOs over Africa (Horus House Press, 1996) collects cases from across the continent investigated by Cynthia Hind, the Zimbabwe-based researcher who was MUFON's representative for Africa and edited the newsletter UFO Afrinews. It came out two years after she was among the first to interview the children of the Ariel School in Ruwa about their September 1994 sighting, and it reflects her habit of going to witnesses herself; she also exposed the reported 1989 Kalahari "UFO crash" as a hoax. An earlier book, UFOs: African Encounters, appeared in 1982.
