UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson: Eyewitness Accounts from the Real Area 51
Also known as Inside the Real Area 51
Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt · foreword by Stanton T. Friedman · New Page Books · 320 pages · ISBN 978-1-938875-18-2
UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson (New Page Books, 2019; first published in 2013 as Inside the Real Area 51: The Secret History of Wright-Patterson) follows the Roswell story to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, where the authors argue the debris and bodies were taken. It collects accounts from people who say they saw or heard of the material there, adds cases from Leonard Stringfield's files and testimony from Carl Day, and argues that Wright-Patterson, not Nevada, is the real centre of the secret.
Its witnesses are mostly anonymous or second-hand, and no official record supports the claim that recovered craft or bodies were held at the base; AARO's 2024 historical review found no evidence of such recoveries.
