Quentin Fogarty is an Australian television reporter who, with cameraman David Crockett, flew aboard a Safe Air Argosy freighter on the night of 30–31 December 1978 and filmed the unexplained lights off New Zealand's coast known as the Kaikōura lights. The footage was broadcast around the world. He is a reporter rather than an official witness under this archive's criteria.
