Ozires Silva is a Brazilian Air Force officer and pilot who founded the aircraft manufacturer Embraer and later led Petrobras. On the night of 19 May 1986, landing at São José dos Campos in an Embraer Xingu, he tried to approach one of the lights reported by the control tower. This was the first episode of what became the "Official UFO Night".

Facts and claims
- claimed Flying an Embraer Xingu back from Brasília on 19 May 1986, after taking office as president of Petrobras, he was asked by the São José dos Campos tower to look for a luminous point.
