Dror Gorlik
Also known as Gorlik
- Former Israeli Air Force fighter pilot (Skyhawk, Kfir, F-15) and commander of two squadrons; later El Al pilot for 27 years
Dror Gorlik is a retired Israeli pilot. By his account he spent nearly 22 years in the Israeli Air Force's fighter corps, flying the A-4 Skyhawk, the Kfir and the F-15, fought in the 1982 and 2006 Lebanon wars, once survived a missile hit, commanded two squadrons and finished as head of a branch in the Operations Department, before flying for El Al for 27 years, some 25,000 flight hours in all.
In September 2026, interviewed by his son for the Hebrew-language channel Anomaly, he described for the first time under his own name an object he saw in 1998 while returning to Tel Nof in an F-15: a silver, mushroom-shaped craft with a ring of yellow lights that passed a few hundred metres from his jet.
