Ingo Swann
Also known as Swann, Ingo Swan
- Artist and psychic; subject of the SRI remote-viewing research (from 1972)
Ingo Swann (1933–2013) was an artist and psychic who from 1972 was the central subject of the remote-viewing experiments at the Stanford Research Institute that drew the CIA's interest and grew into the Stargate programme. He is credited with proposing coordinate-based "controlled remote viewing", which Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ developed and tested; Puthoff says Swann affected a heavily shielded device at Stanford and drew its unpublished interior. His claimed abilities are outside this archive's sourcing criteria.
