Burlison: his office is “still on the trail” of the alien footage Grusch described, after Grusch left his staff in September
podcast · Rebelliously Curious (Chrissy Newton) · Original source
On Chrissy Newton's Rebelliously Curious podcast, Rep. Eric Burlison says his office is still trying to verify David Grusch's claims after Grusch left his staff, including the footage of so-called Nordic beings that Grusch has spoken of. Burlison says he has not seen it and makes no claim it exists until he has evidence; no such footage has been made public, and no letter to Lockheed Martin or the agencies has been published. Quotes are from the archive's machine transcript of the episode audio.
Facts and claims
- claimed Burlison said David Grusch, who had been on his team for 18 months, “left our office in September because he had other opportunities”, and that his office is “continuing to follow the trail and try to get the actual receipts on some of the claims that he has made”: the footage Grusch has described of a crash and of beings “what are called like the Nordics”, and an alleged shootout at a military base, which Burlison says he heard about from Grusch “but also have heard from other individuals as well.” Of the footage: “We're still on the trail of getting access to that footage.” — Eric Burlison Source: theedgeofus.com (archived)
- claimed He said his office sent letters requesting “very specific detailed documents” to “prime contractor groups like Lockheed and others”, to federally funded research and development centers, and to the CIA, the FBI, the Department of War, the State Department and the Department of Energy, and that many files in the PURSUE releases had once been in letters his office wrote. He added that he will not make “definitive statements or claims until I have proof in hand.” — Eric Burlison Source: theedgeofus.com (archived)
- claimed He said Chairman James Comer is open to a UAP hearing before the full Oversight Committee in the two and a half months left in this Congress: “Chairman Comer wants to elevate, for example, a UAP hearing to the full oversight committee.” He also said that if Republicans lose the midterms the disclosure effort “will come to a complete halt”. — Eric Burlison Source: theedgeofus.com (archived)

- 15:58 Eric Burlison: Burlison: “If we lose the midterms, this effort will come to a complete halt”: Democrats would focus on investigating the Trump administration, which would pull its resources “into defense mode”, including Stephen Miller, “who's leading the Pursue effort”.
- 19:47 Eric Burlison: Burlison: “Grush was on my team for 18 months.” Years had passed between Grusch coming forward and his leaving government, documents and material had been moved, and that made verifying his claims harder; still, he was “a valuable resource on our team”, giving them “breadcrumbs that we could follow”.
- 20:53 Eric Burlison: Burlison: his office sent letters “to different groups, whether they were the prime contractor groups like Lockheed and others”, to the federally funded research and development centers, to the CIA, the FBI, the Department of War, the State Department and the Department of Energy, “all requesting very specific, detailed documents”; many files in the released tranches were once in letters his office wrote.
- 21:47 Eric Burlison: Burlison: Grusch “left our office in September because he had other opportunities that required him to leave his post with us and the government”, but “it doesn't mean that the effort doesn't continue.”
- 22:19 Eric Burlison: Burlison: his office is trying “to get the actual receipts” on Grusch's claims: footage of a crash and of beings “what are called like the Nordics, which he describes as having a bluish skin tone”, “We're still on the trail of getting that”, and a claimed shootout at a military base, which he heard from Grusch “but also have heard from other individuals as well.” He adds that Jay Stratton's book has given them leads.
- 25:45 Eric Burlison: Burlison: “I'm not going to make definitive statements or claims until I have proof in hand.”
- 35:03 Eric Burlison: Burlison: “Chairman Comer wants to elevate, for example, a UAP hearing to the full oversight committee”, in the two and a half months left in this Congress.
