The Italian Air Force's published table of the 208 OVNI reports it holds from 1972 to 1990, one page per report. Each page gives the place, date, time, shape, colour, speed, direction, altitude, weather and who made the report, followed by the same verdict: on the basis of the data in the archive, the event was catalogued as O.V.N.I. (unidentified flying object). The table names no witnesses. It records administrative non-identification, not extraordinary performance or origin.
