Pascagoula — The Closest Encounter: My Story

Pascagoula — The Closest Encounter (2018) is Calvin Parker's own account, published 45 years after the 1973 Pascagoula abduction report and after decades in which he avoided publicity, leaving Charles Hickson to speak for both of them. With the British researcher Philip Mantle, he describes the night on the river, the effect the case had on his life, and his own recollections, including memories he said came back later.

It is the testimony of the second witness, which matters because the case rests on the two men's accounts; it has no independent physical evidence. Hickson died in 2011.
