Baependi encounter
On 16 May 1979, near Baependi in Minas Gerais, Brazil, the farmer Arlindo Gabriel dos Santos said that while hunting he photographed a small object that then vanished, and that he was afterwards taken aboard a second craft by a humanoid crew.
The case was investigated by the Brazilian ufologist Ubirajara Franco Rodrigues. It rests on the witness's testimony and his photograph.
