Jon Kosloski named AARO director
On 26 August 2024, Jon T. Kosloski, a physicist and engineer from the intelligence community, was named director of the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). He succeeded the founding director, Sean Kirkpatrick, who left in December 2023, after Tim Phillips served as acting director.
In November 2024 Kosloski said AARO was analysing several "true anomalies" that it did not understand. His statements to Congress are filed with his record.
