Italian Air Force OVNI reports, 2022–2026 (yearly tables)
The Italian Air Force's tables of the OVNI reports it received from 2022 onwards, one file per year, published on its OVNI page a few months after each year ends (the 2026 table, uploaded in October 2026, runs to May). They have the same layout as the earlier tables: place, date, time, shape, colour, direction, speed, motion, altitude, weather, who sent the report and the Air Force's finding. There are only a few reports a year, nearly all from private citizens; two came from Air Force personnel.
The finding is almost always the same: the data gathered from the Air Force's offices showed no link with flight activity or any other known phenomenon, so the event is catalogued as O.V.N.I. One 2023 entry, a balloon-like object over Pesaro, notes a radiosonde launched from San Pietro Capofiume (Bologna) half an hour earlier and still files the event as O.V.N.I. The tables name no witnesses, and "O.V.N.I." records that no explanation was found, not extraordinary performance or origin.

Facts and claims
- documented Two recent reports came from Air Force personnel: a dark, disc-shaped object with luminous points, stationary at about 200 m to the south-east, at Laurentina (Rome) on 14/11/2022 at about 18:40 (2022 table, p. 12); and several bright orange objects with luminous trails, at about 500 km/h and 1,000 m, heading from south to north-west, at Pomezia (Rome) on 26/11/2024 at 22:05 (2024 table, p. 5). In both cases the Air Force found no link with flight activity or other known phenomena and catalogued the event as O.V.N.I. Source: am-ovni-2022.pdf
- documented 30 January 2026, Castel di Lama (Ascoli Piceno), 11:33: a private citizen reported a white object described as a "UAP tipo Tic - Tac" (a Tic Tac-type UAP) at about 1,000 m, heading north-west. The Air Force found no link with flight activity or any other known phenomenon and catalogued the event as O.V.N.I. (2026 table, p. 2). Source: am-ovni-2026.pdf
- documented 2 February 2023, Pesaro, 12:28: a private citizen reported a bright white, balloon-like object with reflective parts, rotating, above 12,000 m. The Air Force found no link with flight activity or other known phenomena "fatta eccezione per il transito di una radiosonda" (except for the passage of a radiosonde) launched from San Pietro Capofiume (Bologna) at about 12:00, and catalogued the event as O.V.N.I. (2023 table, p. 2). Source: am-ovni-2023.pdf
