A craft of non-human origin came down near Magenta, Italy, in 1933, and Mussolini's government recovered it

Also known as Magenta crash claim, RS/33

Open.

The claim that a craft crashed near Magenta in Lombardy in June 1933 and was studied by a secret Italian group, "Gabinetto RS/33", before passing to the United States. It rests on documents mailed anonymously to Roberto Pinotti in 1996, which have not been authenticated, and on David Grusch's and Eric Davis's accounts of what they were told; no archive has confirmed it.
