These are official audio recordings between air traffic control, Captain Ray Bowyer, and various other pilots during Ray's famous airborne UFO encounter on the 23rd of April 2007. We've combed through hours of recordings and compiled the bits that are relevant to the UFO sightings. AYLINE 544 Zone pass message. uh do you have any traffic um can't really say how far but my 12:00 level? I've no known traffic at all in your 12:00. Roger. I've got a very bright object uh well say difference say how far extremely bright yellow orange object Straight

1:03 Ahead uh very flat platform looking at it through binoculars as we speak 544 R I do have a um primary contact now um very faint primary contact just to the left approximately 11:00 this time in a range of about four track miles 544 any more information on the aircraft please 544 uh netive it's just a primary contact that we sometimes get Anna prop on the radar there is something possibly your left uh 10:00 at a range of 3 miles this time i' got a definite contact my 12:00 very bright yellow object looking well like a cigar 544 Roger nothing at all in your 12 o00 um for the next 40 miles or so anyone else see that it's uh nothing really in the area blind 832 Z yeah go

2:14 ahead what's the position of uh the air uh that traffic is in your left just behind 9:00 can you see anything in that direction towards AAC I'm having a look byby aine 5 4 4 still nothing see confirm this traffic is at a similar level to yourself just confirming the water passengers can see this aircraft uh I've got the island visual it's dead ahead can't say how far probably 5 miles but it's staying the same size uh looks to be off the north north northwest coast of Aly over barish at the moment but I can't really tell on 544 uh we'll try and get out of all to if they can see anything can't see anything in that position so I think we crossed there s that's Blue Island 832 I have nothing in that position at all I can't see anything 832 just desend flight level 4 Z

3:21 descending flight level 4 Z 832 832 contact Jersey approach now 12 Z de 3 JY approach2 0 332 J 912 golf soon go J 912 gol have you been listening in the conversation with the aine Roger that uh object would be roughly on your course towards AAC probably below could you advise if you see anything in the vicinity of Al if you look down at all uh we'll keep visual JY a 544 uh J pass message well looking through Bop as I am now uh there's a second one just appeared behind the first one from where I am 544 Roger and uh they're still between yourselves and ory negative I think they're possibly over maybe to the west of ory rer um I do have a primary contact just one blob if you uh 8 miles or so to the west

4:33 of Al in the vicinity of the casket that would possibly be the second one furthest out that I can see the first one it may be closer looks like baru area or Beyond baru from me in a straight line 544 understood break J 912 golf uh that would be roughly below your position this time rog2 golf still looking at I can't see anything rer there are primary just on your right hand side now um sly the casets about a mile to your right skill looking yeah the second one appears to be beyond the first from where I am in other words towards the Southwest it's exactly the same it's got a gap it's a cylindrical object very bright yellow and there's a a gap in the light about 2/3 the way along it from left to right as I look at it and the second one is exactly the same alline

5:33 544 Roger would you like descent please go down 544 as send to altitude 2,000 ft the q& is one21 2000t one21 it's very plain to see from where I am now without any binoculars aine five 4 four anything more yeah uh certainly two objects now passengers going both see passers can see two objects I'm going to be in a straight line with them on sort of Final Approach into order two very bright lights right have you any idea of the scale of them uh i' say from here difficult to see how far away they are I'd say the furthest one is 10 miles away closest one is four miles away 5 miles away maybe seven um don't know like a size of a 737 something like that 544 Roger CL stationary Roger and uh what and what sort of level low to me now uh say 2 1500

6:40 got JY 912 golf anything down on your right hand side this time uh negative Jersey no gol gol Roger contact London there 132 decimal 3 132 Deal 3 J now to gol gol Romeo Romeo Z go go have you been listening in on the conversation with the aine that traffic is about 18 miles uh ahead of you this time if you could keep me advised if you see any objects on your way towards aling gol R lost the objects now in the haze desent on 544 it's copied 544 advised um gy and I would advis all about uh whatever that is you can call them now 128 decimal 650 scar 59 7 Pap when ready to send flight level 5 Z when ready to send

7:45 flight level 5 Z Sky 597 Papa Sky 59 is 7 Papa um I think this happened before you on frequency but some previous traffic into Ordy reported seeing some unidentified objects in the sky in the vicinity of Aly could you advise me if you see anything hey Sky 59 um what you're looking for would be a cigar shaped very bright yellow objects emitting light okay we'll keep a good look out sky 8597 B thanks it was on a tri under inter Aly um over a period of about 10 15 minutes so all the passengers saw the objects as well there were two in the vicinity of Aly and one at the caskets we're good victim Charlie and we are visual with all at the moment keeping a good look out sky 597 TR thank you Sky 59 and 7 pea if you can keep a

8:49 good eye out um on your way down and advise G if you see anything 128 650 okay and G 128 650 SC 859 golf Romeo Romeo Zone golf Romeo Romeo gol if you could um keep a good look out as you pass down the side of Aly um towards Aly and to the West we've cross referen this with traffic in Bound to Jersey from the south which saw the objects from the vicinity of SAR towards Aly at the same levels go that keeping a good look out thank you gol Remy Remy obviously passing down on the side of Aly now anything seen at all uh golf Romeo to my disappointment nothing golf Romeo Romeo Roger maintain altit 3,000 ft continue with Jersey approach 1 12 0m 3 1 two 0 3 maintaining CL thank you

9:52 byebye Jersey 511 when ready continue The Descent flight level 5 Z when ready continue descent down to flight level 5 Z JY 511 thank you uh 511 Jesse go ahead if you could just bear with me with this I'll I explain this to you we had an aine who landed in alony about 20 minutes ago uh he reported two cigar shaped objects uh bright orange uh approximately well between flight level 40 and surface level just off the Northwest uh corner of Aly so if you could keep a lookout for anything at all on your way down to gy yeah we'll do sounds very strange maybe UFOs in the area yes maybe indeed uh the pilot reported it and um all the passengers saw it as well and uh we had a separate uh aircraft another Trier just east of Sark who also confirmed it north of his position so like I said if you could keep a good look out and advice if you do spot anything thank

10:53 you and black 3 did you copy that CH 511 continue withy approach now 128 650 and if you could advise them if you do spot anything on the way down 128 650 we code JY 511 by not see anything yet by Pap Hotel Bravo jerse in hotel Bravo um approximately 20 minutes ago we had a trial under landing at alen he reported seeing two um cigar shaped objects apparently off the northwest coast of Aly it was confirmed by another aircraft and the passengers on board I was just wondering if you could see anything from your present position towards Aly okay we're looking 932 did you copy that a 932 yeah it was just to the west of Aly they were between flatable fors during

12:00 surface levels so I mean if you could or if you do see anything at all if you could report that Pap anything seen at all to the east of you no had a good look nothing observed bra your thanks for that uh Jersey bl3 2 The Zone asked us to look if we could see an object which is um being seen by Aline at the moment they've got something about 8:00 resembling the description 832 Roger what range would you estimate that Target around about the similar range to Aly from us now Blue Island 832 and at the same level or lower or higher uh lower I suspect about 2,000 Lower Blue 832 rer go for information have a primary target in your right 3:00 range of 2 miles so if you could keep a good look out with the recent going

14:04 563 I believe my colleague wants to have a quick word with you so when you have a chance if you could um contact him on8 Thal 55055 coming across now5 63 on 1855 box two 563 uh hello um we were talking before when you were southbound um about reference the objects um I've spoken to your Ops in ordinally they faxed me through a copy of your flight log I believe with the the diagrams on I was wondering if when you get a moment you could take write down whatever details you can um draw diagrams or whatever and then fax them through to us here in Jersey have we got a telephone number yeah it's uh Z

15:05 that's correct and uh for the intention of myself that's uh any other sightings understand a fly got it um well the flyby 146 I think was too high but the Blue Island jet stream passing the down a beam sck on its way down to us once it's a similar level I think 450 saw the objects um opposite direction to yourself and a vicinity of Aly estimated range to them about 10 miles rer thanks very much did you see two objects I uh he didn't say actually um we can double check that but he certainly saw one in the vicinity of Aly perhaps the other one if it was further west would have been actually behind him as he was heading down to us yeah that would confirm what I saw thanks very much I'll uh I'll be in touch by fa Roger uh if you could also put a contact number on that fax that' be brilliant I'll give you the mobile as well don't take it now uh if you can
