Jack Northrop on UFO power and propulsion (archival, in The Age of Disclosure)
The Age Of Disclosure · 7 July 2026 · 2 min · Watch the original
Archival footage, of unstated date, of the aircraft designer Jack Northrop, founder of the Northrop Corporation, used in The Age of Disclosure (2025) and posted by the film's official channel. Northrop says reported UFO performance points to unknown sources of power and propulsion worth urgent scientific study.

Key moments
- 0:00 Jack Northrop: Northrop: “There is not only a source of power of which we're not acquainted, but there is also a source of propulsion which we're not acquainted”; UFOs seem to have unlimited power, perhaps like fusion.
- 0:44 Jack Northrop: Their ability to hover, accelerate very rapidly and move far faster than supersonic aircraft, “without sonic booms”, indicates a unique propulsion that would be of tremendous value.
- 1:24 Jack Northrop: He feels, with others who have studied it, that it is a subject which “deserves the highest type of scientific study and at an early date”.

0:00 There is not only a source of power of which we're not acquainted, but there is also a source of propulsion which we're not acquainted because the UFOs seem to have unlimited power, which perhaps we might obtain if we develop fusion. Fusion power is more or less goes on forever. Fission that we're using now utilizes the elements to a certain extent, but fusion recreates the material that's used, and perhaps a small fusion power plant would give you the power necessary, but the propulsion of these UFOs is unique. Their ability to hover, their ability to accelerate very rapidly, their ability to move at very high speeds, very much higher than anything that we have achieved even with our supersonic
1:01 aircraft. All of these things, and particularly, interestingly, without sonic booms and the things that we don't like about our supersonic aircraft, all of these things indicate a type of propulsion which is unique, different than anything we know anything about, and which would be of tremendous value if we could develop it and use it. That's the reason I feel, with a number of others who have studied it, that it is a subject which deserves the highest type of scientific study and at an early date. The advantages to be gained are perfectly enormous.
