Key moments
- 0:04 An area of contrast enters from the bottom left (AARO). The mission report, D033, describes it flying near the surface of the ocean and making multiple “90-degree turns” at about 80 miles per hour.
- 0:07 The object moves back and forth horizontally across the frame as the sensor pans to follow it (AARO): the movement the crew read as sharp turns.
- 1:00 The sensor marks it with a blue reticle and locks on, then from 2:02 applies a contrast filter (AARO).
- 2:22 The object becomes indistinguishable from the background and the lock drops; the sensor cycles zoom and contrast without finding it (AARO).
