April 5th House Armed Services Hearing on UFOs (1966 news footage)

0:00 on the 5th of April 1966 the U.S House of Representatives armed services committee conducted a hearing on UFOs Project Blue Book consultant astronomer J Allen heineck delivered a lengthy prepared statement which will be addressed Elsewhere on the channel it was his comments to reporters at the end of the hearing on what should be done with 20 unique unexplained cases to which I'd like to bring your attention ten thousand to 100 none of the evidence that I have examined would indicate any proof at all and that we are being visited by how many really mysterious incidents are there that you'd like to go back and look at again well as I mentioned in the hearings this morning I have picked some 20 cases nothing particular about 20 is a number but just I thought let's see

1:01 what are some that have not been explained and which have possible scientific Pay Dirt in them and I think those I would recommend that they be looked at quite closely not with the general idea of using them to prove that we are being visited because I don't think they will however a scientist has to keep open-minded on it and they in an investigation a scientific one without Fanfare a quiet look at the data I think is in order
