Rob Wittman is a Republican U.S. Representative from Virginia and vice chair of the House Armed Services Committee, listed as such in the committee roster of its April 2024 Air Force budget hearing.
At that hearing he raised the December 2023 drone incursions that forced operations at Langley Air Force Base, in his home state, to shut down, and asked Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall whether Air Force bases are adequately protected.
