DOW-UAP-PR117 — Gulf of Oman, 2021: AC-130J screen, clip 1
Department of War / AARO (DVIDS) · September 2021 · 0 min · Watch the original
16 seconds recorded with a phone from the infrared display of a U.S. Special Operations AC-130J gunship over the Gulf of Oman in 2021; released as PR117 in PURSUE release 05. The aircraft's own video recorder failed, so these phone clips are all that was kept.

Key moments
- 0:00 A phone recording of the gunship's infrared display: an area of contrast stays near the centre for the whole clip (AARO). AARO stresses that this is a secondary capture, not native sensor data, with limited fidelity and resolution.
