The Black Vault
Also known as Black Vault, John Greenewald
The Black Vault is the largest independent clearinghouse of government documents released under the Freedom of Information Act, run by John Greenewald Jr., whose own requests led to releases such as the DIA's AAWSAP technical papers in 2022. It is a mirror, not an issuing authority: where this archive uses a Black Vault copy, it also cites the originating agency's record wherever possible.
