Organization
Battelle
Also known as Battelle Memorial Institute
Battelle Memorial Institute is a private, non-profit research and development organisation based in Columbus, Ohio, that manages national laboratories and does contract research for the U.S. government.
It appears in this archive through a claim by the physicist Hal Puthoff that Battelle received foil-like material reportedly recovered at Roswell in 1947 and worked on reproducing it, and that the shape-memory alloy Nitinol came out of that work. No official record supports the claim.
