Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers
Also known as Bob Lazar Area 51, Area 51 & Flying Saucers
Written and directed by Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell · narrated by Mickey Rourke · an Orchard release · 97 min
A sympathetic portrait of Bob Lazar, who says he worked on recovered alien craft at "S-4" near Area 51 in 1988–89 and went public in 1989 in interviews with the Las Vegas journalist George Knapp. Directed by Jeremy Corbell and narrated by Mickey Rourke, the film revisits his account through interviews, polygraph material and archival footage. It brought Lazar back to wide attention after its Netflix release in 2019 and helped inspire the "Storm Area 51" meme.
Lazar's claimed degrees and employment have never been verified, and critics faulted the film for not testing his claims; he is outside this archive's sourcing criteria as a witness. The official trailer plays here from JoBlo Movie Network's YouTube upload.
